oh and could you swing by my house after work?
as soon as i get my boost situation worked out cause its really messin me up and i would like to crank the boost up to about 25 psi one day

nah, he needs to pick up a nice 17x8 wheel with some nice tires for daily use. he already has some sort of wheel/slick setup.

i fixed a little vacuum leak i had yesterday that was coming from my boost solenoid. tightened down the barb fitting that goes to it and added a hole clamp to it and it disappeared. made my vacuum go from about 18 to 20

stop worrying about cranking the boost up. figure out what's going on with the boost you're running right now. i say set it at 16 psi and leave it until you get everything fixed, situated and you learn how to launch/drive on slicks.

the only benefit to doing the 5 lug swap for you would be to so that you can run SS brakes on the front & rear..... other than that.... i'd stick with 4x100 because that's a much better lug pattern for wheels selection.

as for the ss body kit & ss/tc wheels.... i'm not a fan of making a LS into a fake SS, but i think the SS/na (2.4L) front & rear bumpers, no lip kit, would look good.

i said "one day" lol. that wont be for a while tho. hopefully the vacuum leak i found helps out a little bit and thatll eliminate one thing. learning to launch on slicks is a track only thing so i wont get much practice with that

i wouldnt mind runnin SS brakes. slowing down from 115 mph is not fun. kinda feels like im gonna run out of road on the shut down area

i dont see it as makin it into a fake ss...more like makin the car look better. the car as it sits looks boring. i need a panty droppa lol if i can get a 2.4 body kit then ill do it, but i can find any

try slowing down from 155 that was fun

oh and you want to pump the brakes when slowing down from that fast, it allows air to come in between the pads & rotors to sort of cool them down. this will help you keep them longer. there may be a disc brake conversion for you rear.... good rotors & pads will be all you need then.

if you want a "panty droppa" then you own the wrong fkn car

oh and i think the "boring" look for your LS is perfect, very sleeperish.

i havent tried 155, im not that brave lol. that i do, i pump the brakes. i think it might be time to change these ones anyways lol. same brakes on the car since ive bought the thing and might be the same one from when the car was made lol. my car will drop panties after the girl has been in the car lol. i took my friend lauren for a ride and she was like "holy ****, this thing is like a adrenaline rush. this is way faster then mikes car!!" then i brought her home and she told her friend to go for a ride and her friend was like "hell no!" lol. funny day...then i let my friend with a 240 drive my car and he gets a ticket for chirpin tires lol

Congrats on the runs Hasty glad it all worked out for you. You could also keep the LS body and look into the RKSport lip kit for your car just to clean it up and give it a lil added flair.

you openly admitted that you'd just turn around and sell the intercooler.... i'm not having that.

it's $200 for the intercooler & all the piping.... you don't want the intercooler, so if you just want the piping then i'll sell you all the piping for $200.

wats the size of the intercooler? maybe i can use it. my current one is thin and tall. if the one you got is shorter but thicker, it might be better
