the Cruze is for those people that want a nice car that gets great mpg, is comfy inside and they don't care about going fast or looking awesome.

i personally like the Cruze and i think after being married to Krista for a couple of years, i could talk her into trading in the Civic sedan we'll have for a Cruze.

exactly! adding a turbo to that small of an engine gives it enough power to move that car just fine while still getting mid-high 30s mpg.

if i were to get one, i'd want bolt-ons & tune.... take it from 140hp to 200hp at the crank.... that would ensure better mpg, better pick up when murging/passing.

The SS front end looks so much better than the regular HHR. Thats probably why they made an auto so more peeps would buy it.

Paolo and I were discussing that last night that GM now has no car to gear towards young kids/tuners...no cavy, no cobalt no nothing unless thats what they are planning on using the camaro for. However, the majority of camaro owners i have seen are either middle aged women or men around my dads age.

they're trying to push the Camaro more BUT it's still too expensive. i wouldn't be surprised if GM gives in and actually comes out with a LNF powered Cruze SS sedan.

GM must come out with a tuner friendly car.... it just feels weird that they don't have anything in the works right now.

sounds like a plan until the FED, MD, DE taxes decide to take their share lol.

I'll stick with the hybrid turbo I plan to put on the car

The goal is to keep the car looking as stock as possible

Yes sir, if nobody does it by spring, I shall be the first. It looks like a good deal. Stock appearance, bolts right up, just need a tune for it and your good to go.

I'll probably get a clutch and the MPx intercooler to go with it.

BNR Stage 1 K04-GT2860 $950.00 plus send in core.

$300 for core exchange program. (meaning if you dont have a core, pay another $300 and he provides it.)

MPx IC $399

Forge Motorsport piston style BPV $150

HPT/Trifecta BYT tune $375

hopefully thats all I need. I don't really wanna get the ZZP lower CP yet unless the stocker breaks for a third time.

I do NOT like MPx's support design.

Their end tanks are the best I've seen, but I see them cracking due to the support design they engineered.

Not necessary - provides NO gain and not worth the time and hassle to install IMO.

nope the support that hold my radiator is busted The radiator fan shrouding pops out of places and hammers the charge pipe right where the nipple to the vac line is by the MAP.

They never ever fixed it for me so the radiator has a little wobble, it stays in place and they say its fine, but the fan shrouding keeps popping out due to it. However, I think I fixed the problem myself cause I havent seen the fan shrouding pop out again since the last boost leak. The fan shrouding snaps in place like a lego, its cheaply designed. I lifted up the radiator about two inches and pushed that bish (fan shrouding) in place the best I could and it snapped in place.

It looks like the ZZP lower CP moves the MAP sensor up to the intake manifold side so that the plastic nipple/stem on the vac line wont snap off anymore. <-- That would be the prime reason for me to get it. Not doing MAF relocation though.

I feel that this upgraded turbo will work on stock tune as long as I dont go WOT so I may do the switchable tune (really not leaning towards it but since the turbo appears stock and something goes wrong on my car that doesnt have anything to do with the tune or turbo I could bring it in and not get flagged)

Or I might get a swithable tune, one for lower boost (18psi), and one for like 23-24psi and screw the warranty all together. OR I might get a winter tune and a summer tune but I see me forgetting which one winter and which is summer and ruining the car, lol.
