in theory the exhaust won't be hard. i've done it a bunch of times.

lift the car. take off the rear wheels. disconnect the shock. disconnect the brake line bracket. drop the rear crossbeam. unbolt the catback at the downpipe. unhang the catback. pull it out in one piece. put the rear crossbeam back in, connect the shocks & brake line bracket. install new exhaust. put wheels back on. lower the car and enjoy.

If all goes well I"m gonna have to pay a visit back to your neighbor's garage if he's cool with it.
He was a nice guy, I liked him.

I think the Treadstone group buy I organized would be hella more successful if that Jason guy (treadstone) was more on top of that thread answering everyone's questions instead of answering one persons questions and then disappearing for an eternity...

looks like some nissan fanbois found this site to talk up their Z's. I really wish people would understand the potential of the ss/tc before spouting off nonsense.

Z's do have A LOT more potential that Cobalts.

I WILL have you know I am a grammar **** and my usage of project is correct, referring to one area that is considered a run down part of the neighborhood or a project.

the OP in the thread is not interested in modding either car. He wants a quick DD...deciding bw an 04 Z and an 08 ss/tc the cobalt is the obvious choice hands down. If he wanted to lightly mod I would still say cobalt...modding Z's is not for people without deep pockets...hence why mine is still slow as poop
