Is there anyone in the Reading or Lancaster area of PA that will race me. I want to run a 2.4 because I think I would have a very good chance against them and I want to run someone with a pretty much stock SS/SC because I think I would do decent. My mods are in my sig so if you want to run let me know

From reading your mod list you stand a good chance of taking a stock 2.4 but a SC Balt will still rape you.

yeah a stock 2.4 might not be too bad for you but I saw your car is an auto... That's going to hurt you some as the torque management on those things is horrendous. A stock ss/sc will definatly rape you pretty bad... I raced a buddies LS 5spd with more mods than you when I was stock and it wasn't very pretty...

 

Header intake and exhaust wont add that much. 2.4 will still beat you.

oh man, you just missed me. I just got my stage 2 in on Monday. I'm in Annville and I love just driving around. It'd take me like 45 minutes to get there. Let me know if you still wanna hook up sometime just to cruise. I have church tonight and Drill this weekend, but Thursday and Friday night I'll be bored.

local balt? how do i keep missing you folks? lol. nice mod list but ill have to agree with some that your auto may hurt you some. look into the b&m i believe kit for your auto. i drove a friends with it and it shifted very fast and hard so it may help you out as well. im from around lancaster if you ever see me around

 

i've been thinking that more and more. like i said, i'm modded now, but i'm super-local. I'm right up the road so to speak. i dunno how i don't see more of some of the people on here.

 

about an hour from lancaster here. not stock but not that far off, and like the other guy said, you drive here and you got a race lol

 

If you can just keep up with a 2.4 than your probably not going to get anywhere with an S/C

Where are you in lancaster because I get out that way once and a while? I am ordering the b&m shift plus tommorow and I will also have my 2.4L intake manifold on very soon. I know I should get raped by an SS/SC but what the hell I might as well see how I do. I am pretty sure I would take a stock 2.4 and probably even a slightly modded one.

 

i am from marietta, i am around lancaster area anyway i mean but i am all around. hoe the b&m works out for ya, i know another kid on here had it and it shifts like amzingly when i drove it.

 

with your auto tranny, you're probably not braking into the 15's. if you are, it's it's probably a 15.9. more reastically, you'll probably run a 16.2 or 16.3. stock manual 2.4 will pull pretty bad, a 2.0 is closes to 2 seconds faster.

 

unless you have nitrous you will lose to both.. seeing how your an auto..

I am in York, Pa for school right now.

 

a manual with the same mods will probably run around a 15.6 or so. automatic adds a good half second. that being said, you'd have a tough time with a STOCK manual base model. don't wanna burst your bubble, but no chance againsta stock 2.4

 

Joey26lil where around scranton are you located. All of my relatives are up from that area. They live in Carbondale.
