Unhappy Anyone in Massachusetts !! Inspections!

This may be a shot in the dark but if anyone knows of anything I'd really appreciate the help.

I just recently had my inspection done last month and received a REJECTION sticker for my tints. I put in the 35% tint but due to the windows already being a little tinted from factory, they are measuring out at 28% .... I've had my windows tinted for 3 years and every year i just go in with the windows down and have no problem. This year however I've had no luck and i really dont want to remove my tints.

Does anyone know of a place or someone that will pass my car for me .. even if i gotta give a little tip i don't care .. my time is just running up and i need to do something ASAP!

If i were you i'd go to a garage in lowell. You'll definitly have no problem getting that pass sticker in some places there...

Don't you need to go back to the same garage you originally went to? Or can you pay twice somewhere?

I don't think there's an official rule on that. But maybe...

^ as a former inspector, no you do not have to go to the same garage, however you will have to pay for your re-inspection if you go somewhere else.

i know a place you could go, but its an hour south of you. i have the same thing on my car 35% tint but registers 27% on the gauge. i always get a sticker

NH is the same way with tint. It's at the owners discretion really to pass you if you are over the limit. Hopefully you can find someone a bit more lenient about it so you don't have to strip it off.
