Ok this is for the people who live in or near the finger lakes. I want to get a group of cobalts and ions redline, ss, etc g5s you kno who you are even if ur a jbody. I want to try to get all of us together to have a meet we will schedule a day and a meeting place. I figure we could have a day to cruise around watkins glen new york and go to the track and do a couple of laps and or drive around cruise take pics and all talk about our cars. have a great fun day. If you want to make the drive and cruise still post up. I really want to do this. so post where you live and if ur interested.

 

I'm down for a meet. I'm little far away but, I would make the drive provided I'm not dealing with work and/or school that day.

 

sweet it would either be on a weekend or a monday or tuesday. if we wanted to go to the track it would be a monday or tuesday which i will need to find more info about my friend scotty (blackss/sc05) knos some info on it to but usually clubs are racing i wish cobalts had a community like bmw where we can have a club like that and u just see 150 cobalts driving around like u do bmws going to the track. It will be a killa day though!

 

Weekends are the best for me. Mondays....meh. Tuesday and thursday are my worst days since between class and work, I'm tied up from 8am to 8pm.

Just an FYI... The track is gonna be damn near impossible to get man... They have events booked and going on virtually every day. I know some people up there and the only real way to get out there is through a club (BMW, Porsche, etc.) who already has the track reserved and you pay a fee to them or you need to rent it yourself as a club early in the season (and the cost is a couple thousand dollars) not to metnion you can't drive on the track without an instructor being with you at all times unless you become certified by taking a few track sessions.

However, with all that being said just let me know when you might hook this up, if it's on a weekend i'll definately come along as long as i'm in town.

He may have done an open track day which they have on occassion but those are paced laps only and there is no passing allowed.
