BCP Performance
#54
Just attesting to awesomeness of BCP. I had a run with a lightly modded SRT-4 last night. He had BOV, wastegate actuator, intake and a catless DP. He said he was pushing 18 lbs of boost. We went from a forty roll. By like 110 i had about 3/4 of a car on him. I have an ebay intake, 2.9 in pulley, 42 lb injectors and a BCP tune. My car felt really strong and pulled harder through each gear.

ok polished the inlet side of the s/c, didn't really remove much material, but I can tell you the internal casting is disgusting, not smooth at all, and there are a lot of casting "protrusions" inside. Unfortunatly I didn't have long enough bits to completely finish it, only made it in about 5 inches. but I can definatly feel a difference in throttle response. I'll post logs tonight when I get home since I didnt get a chance to this weekend.

here's the log from today. Getting a little belt slip up top, need to tighten up the tensioner. oh well.. tomorrow's project. so far polished about 5"'s into the inlet of the s/c and opened out the outlet and smoothed it out too.
oh and to those that say you can't get near 15 psi with a stock pulley.... well here's some proof..

actually just ordered some credits today... let me know man..
and that 14.88 psi was on a stock pulley with a higher redline and tune. That log is from a run at e-town last november I think. trying to get a track meet together for next friday if you want to join.

yo marc's car is so loud. i was leaving work 2nite and saw him and him and i were just dicking around on jericho. his supercharger whine's like a ****. sounds so ill. wut u got done marc..or paul im sure u know. sounds sick. yes and my car is loud too..as marc pointed out..lol...holy BCP performance..lol
#64
marc's blower sounds much deeper then mine. mine is high pitch hardcore. i dunno paul who's blower is louder?( i would assume marc's.). BCP's growing up real fast. the rest of the people on this boards gotta watch out.

lol... blowing up big lately man. but marc's running a 2.7 pulley but damn rob for a stock setup your **** makes some noise. I gotta get my car on video this week, you gotta hear what it sounds like with the polished s/c inlet on it. ****** screams up top, but I'm getting a little bit of belt slip above 5500 rpm so I gotta tighten that sucker up tonight.
And Rob let me know when you want to meet up so I can get some logs on your car and fine tune the thing

how long u think it shud take for injectors and to re-tune the car? in case u run into that problem with HPtuners again. here is the fix.
Move (not copy) all your .cfg files in your "C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite" directory to a new subdirectory location (save for later) and fire up the editor. You will probably have to reinstall your application key (available at your HPT login on the main HPT website) and re-ping your hardware. Then use the standard write and all should be good.
You can also just rename the vcm suite.cfg file and try again.and then put ur application key once you open the program again.
ill give u a call during the week.

Man your logs with the 20psi look amazing. I still haven't gotten my boost to log right for some reason. Also I gotta get that new tune off you with the new timing maps. I may have another run with that Z06 this weekend
For those who don't know BCP is awesome... I'm very impressed with what he has been able to help me get out of my car. Last weekend I ran a C5 Z06 from a 40mph roll. From 40-75ish it was dead even, shifted to third and he gained onme a bit, and by 125ish he only had about 1.5 cars on me and it was no longer pulling. I was impressed but I want more lol Thanks again Paul, I gotta get my ass to LI to hang out this summer for sure.
