I could shitf w/o the clutch in my cobalt. Just gotta know how to do it once it's broken in. Not hard at all. As long as you just driving around and in the lower RPM band its no big deal.

real tight lol service manual says 124 lbs/in or 13.33333333.... ft/lbs and there's a sequence, looking toward the front of the car,

yeah 124, I knew it was 12x. I was 2 lb/in off haha. And yeah, start out with the middle bolts and work your way out to the end bolts. I did it the way that GM tells you to, but you don't have to use their exact order. As long as you start in the middle and work your way out

it feels a bit better. but i also noticed all kinds of ******* vibrations.
i think the cat might be hitting something. maybe the firewall or maybe that bracket that goes under. all i know is that its ******* annoying.
it does it at idle a bit, a shitton at 2500-3000 and when i turn right only at 2000-3000.

it would be funnier if i could find out wtf is rubbing and vibrating 
i think it looks like the cat against whatever piece of suspension is right under it. maybe a sway bar?
i looked and can see that the sway bar is missing some paint right by where the cat is. ugh.
how the hell do i fix this.
