Breaking News Wreck on Rt. 30
Just saw it on the news....vague details. Supposedly a very bad wreck on Rt. 30 in the Hempfield area. Thats a big ass area and they didnt narrow it down. They suspect people were street drag racing. Please tell me no one from here....

Just so it on the news. Saw a picture of like a teal staurn ion and a cavalier. But it was none of us, we were all at pep boys watching the state boys fly by on thier way to it. i had to find a different way home cause on rt 30 there were firetrucks blocking the road and such.

No no... Rick that was last night's accident you were just talking about. The one this thread was referring to was earlier tonight. It was nowhere near where we were. Around that time we were grabbing some food anyway.
Everyone's fine from our group.

ok... well if those 2 cars were racing.... then i'm sure NHT and NVPD will be watching that kinda stuff like a hawk. Be careful out there.
That girl SHOULD'VE Been wearing a selt belt. If not for herself, for her unborn child.
I'm sure there's the argument that she could've still lost the baby with the force from the belt, but we'll never know.
Hence another reason why Street racing is stupid, even if there was no racing going on. Since they've not found the other car, the verdict's out still.
No matter how in-convienient it is to go to the track and have "technical issues" and have to go home, it's nothing compared to what those families are now faced with.
Ok... I'll get off my soapbox now.

Police said a car driven by 20-year-old Erin Schaub T-boned a Pontiac Sunbird on Route 30, near Lamont Drive. (Map)
The impact propelled Clark, who was not wearing a seat belt, about 20 feet through the rear window of the Sunbird, according to police.
Clark was listed in critical condition Monday. The conditions of the other injured people have not been released yet.
Witness reports that Schaub's car was racing another vehicle when it crashed into the Sunbird are under investigation, police said.
The other car is described as a white Chrysler PT Cruiser. Police are looking for the driver.
