Yeah it took about 45 min to do my car or so, it was 250 and now the car puts down 310+whp and 360+wtq

He has been tuning cobalts for a VERY LONG TIME and has alot of respect man, he knows what he is doing, if you are unsure about the tune, come ride in my car and be prepared to **** your self lol

He does a ton of stuff to the car but I know redline was raised to 7k and boost is at 20psi

I'll be out there tonight with my car (I've been dying to drive it for the last few weeks lol), should be up there @9:15 or so, car will be dirty as ****, but I really dont care I just want to drive the thing. I'll bring the LOD with me too, just let me know if you definitely want a tune tonight so I can get the credits, if not, I probably won't be back around for a few weeks as like Joe said, I just bought a house upstate and am trying to move next weekend (plus 3 cars I have to transport and all my cobalt spare's). also the RX7 might be done next weekend, so I may come back down next friday night, but not definite.
As for ECU swapping, I hope you're not talking about in the 09 cobalt because it will not work. totally different computer in there.
As for tuning, I save your stock file on the laptop (backed up on a memory stick and my desktop at home) that I could always erase the PCM and go back to stock in about 5 minutes.

well the extra ECU i got is for the 09....i gave my VIN for him to upload the stock calibration, was this a BIG mistake?

ill get up there around 9 then also...If this ECU was a waste of 215$ ima be heated, the whole reason i got this was so i can have two ECU one tuned and one stock.

If it's the correct bosch PCM then you should be fine, you will have to do a crank relearn and security relearn more than likely.

well....I dont know about the ecu or anything but there isn't a point of having two when we have PAUL lol

like he said, what he does is keep the stock tune and can switch in about 5 min if you need to go back to stock tune, then a retune is like 30 bucks or so... havning 2 ecm's only means you can switch to stock tune in ur driveway when you want rather then waiting till a firday night or meeeting him half way..... but then again I don't know about the extra ones expecialy on a 09!

But I will see you there man looking foward to meeting you!

should I bring money if I want to boost to 22 psi or is that simple?

ok and if i take out the original and swap it out and need those things is this something a dealer needds to do or? the car will be drivable still? Would the original one need to re-learn anything if i ake it out? And is the correct term PCM for the 09 cobalts? i no its all the computer and different cars call it something different.

I should be able to do the crank relearn tonight, not sure if the new pcm is fully supported in that aspect yet though by the software I have as I haven't tried it out yet. It should be driveable, you might have to do the security relearn on the car first though (procedure is on this site somewhere, just do a search). Anytime you swap PCM's you have to do a crank and security relearn so the computer knows where the crank is in relation to the firing order.

I am confused about the term too but people will understand no matter what you say, lol

and Thanks paul hopefully 22psi will be a noticeble difference, do you think it will be a dumb idea to go 22psi for my daily driver, like blwoing things up is way more possible this way or 2 psi jump should be like cake...or cupcakes lol

yeah can't really be on here too much during the day. but I can answer any and all questions you guys may have tonight.
As for driving around at 22+psi as a daily driver, **** I do it all the time with mine. You only hit 22psi at WOT anyway, which during a normal commute you shouldn't be doing anyway (unless you're crazy like me lol).
Part throttle cruising and fuel mileage and such will remain the same, only real change is under WOT 100% throttle driving.

and that LNF site = fail from what I hear. I was invited on, signed up, but they started banning my friends right away so I haven't gone on.

yeah I am abit addicted to boost sometimes, and yeah the lnf site is ok, i only have posted 4 times and its pretty quiet on there lol o well i will see

But as for being addicted to boost, honestly I cant feel boost really at all, I see the rpms and the speedo moving thorugh nubers like crazy but I cant feel the power, everyone else says HOLYFUCK it pulls and I spank my friends cars but I just don't feel it anymore, maybe I am used to it, or I am just focusing on the road and gears that I dont pay attention lol
