first off, reliability and power. Don't really go together.
But, my car is at 440whp (roughly 497 crank). Problem is with the s/c you get a lot of parasitic drag which stresses components, and a lot more heat generated. That and bad tunes (he was getting a lot of knock) equal kaboom.
The turbo cars are a lot better power handling wise, **** look at the SRT-4's people have made over 600whp on stock bottom ends.
But anyway they have basically the same bottom end structure, lnf has slightly lower compression (9.2:1 vs 9.5:1) and a different piston design due to the direct injection (same cast material though). These motor's will handle power if setup correctly and you don't do back to back to back to back pulls and heat soak the motor.

hmmm interesting, I want the power lol but Im scared shitless, maybe I will rock what i got and see how other people do with their motors, I am deff interested in doing some kind of HUGE power advancment lol plus 370wtq at 2k rpms is great for spinning, with a bigger turbo it would be same power only at what...3700 rpms? Maybe I am just a baby but I dont know jack **** about POWER and engines lol

Yes thats what it sounds like. I would go with the k04 wheel upgrade first. Listen this is obviously your first tuner car and you have to start slow. Intake, turbo back exhaust, some bolt on **** and a tune you should definitely have fun and not break too much.
Side note anyone want to roll to captree this weekend?? If so let me know and people from patchogue and east we can meet at pepboys off of Sunrise hwy in Patchogue. I will post my cell prior to the meet.
