I got a little over 3/4 of a tank and we have about 15 gallons for the generator locked up. All the other cars are empty except for the mustang and the BMW. Gas should be here soon though so I'm not worried or willing to stand in line for 2 hours
Yeah I have 5/8 of a tank [filled up Wednesday morning in no time flat]. Had to drive to work on Wed & Thur - not willing to stand in line but I have to say, I have contingency plans in case I get too low. I won't go under 3/8. Thankfully Metro-North is running and hopefully power will be back in Lower Manhattan by Monday so that I can subway it down to work if all else fails and work out of NY office vs. Stamford.
It's crazy up here though - we aren't in the dire straits that LI is in yet it's ******* madness!
My mom doesn't have power though - LIPA is seriously LILCO version 2.0.

I was in lower manhattan yesterday for work. **** is fucked batter tunnel had 6 feet of water in it still. The building I was working in also one of the ones my dad runs had over 4 feet of water in the lobby and the basement was full. Another one had 3 floors full of water and then the lobby. Creepiest thing is walking around a sub basement that was flooded with water still dripping down in pitch black.
