and yeah corolla's are horribly slow, I had a 2012 as a rental when I the cobalt got hit. couldn't even maintain speed in a turn without down shifting lol

mine is actually the base model, which is a 3 speed trans.

the acceleration surprised me for this little rinky dink thing. the handling is quit impressive as well.

My gf has a 12' focus and the Rolla feels like it has more get up and go, it also feels like it is staying planted on the turns ... not that im taking them very fast but still lol.

The gearing is pretty sweet ive yet to see it go over 3k rpms and its still enough juice to keep up with the traffic on the hwy.

yup no compression in 2 and 4, something broke when I went to start it.
first motor in over 17yrs that I've done that didnt start on the first try. ******* cobalts

oh that and the sunroof drains clogged and flooded my car out, ruined pretty much the entire interior except the driver seat

it's the new motor that took a **** before it even ran, so ******* pissed about it.
going to pull the valve cover off saturday morning to see if I can figure out what is going on.
My other motor is sitting in my garage and more then likely going back in the car after I replace a few gaskets.


and vik read what ya quoted lol, cobalt ain't doing too good right now
