Scratch me off the list. I just remembered i'll be in SC this weekend visiting my rents. Its always a good time but there's always next year. Plus i'm re-doing my car currently (at least until it sells), so next year i'll either come out swinging with a new look, or with a new car altogether.

Ummm?

College Park Tuning is a HUGE EPIC meet. It might be epic fail for the amount of Cobalts that show up, but the show as a whole is always a good time.

I'm still tint-less. It was always on my "to do" list, but I just never got around to it.

well with my tint.. you can still see through it during the day.. like you can see the outlines of things. and at night you can't see a thing unless the dome light it on.

and when i got my speeding warning last month , the cop said nothing about it

I had 20% tint on my old car and a cop went out of his freakin way to pull me over and tell me its illegal, lmao. so 35% is fine. My gf has 35% and its looks fairly dark. I want it for the look and the protection. I dont care if people can or cant see in the car. I'd rather them beable to walk up to my car and go "oooo what a clean interior"

Okay I got 35% 3M tint. lol. Definately makes the car look alot better. however, they dirtied the **** out of my car, I had to clean it again.... It says I have to wait 30 days to clean the tint film??? I dont remember it being that long. And he left lots of streaks all over the rear windshield.

nah, it looks like surface streaks from them doin the "squeegy" thing of course all that shitty water goes all over the car lol. thus the cleaning again.

I was just reading on the 3M pamphlet that it said to wait 30 days before cleaning, im obviously not going to wait that long.

Yeah, I went to them. I was pretty iffy about it but I dont know any other places around here. I had my old car done by them twice back in 2004 and it wasnt bad, it was actually pretty good. My gf's car was done there in 2005 and it turned out great. My sisters car had to get redone twice, once for a bubble and once because she didnt think 35% was dark enough.

Both my cousins had their 350z's done there and I think one of them had a problem...dont remember what it was.

I hear all the horror stories, and I watched them do the car. The guy that did my car looked as though he were a veteran there and not some punk kid who just got a job. Only thing I dont like is that they have a no cash refund policy, so your stuck with their service if it turns out shitty time and time again.

The only thing that bothered me while I was there was that the door said 1 hour or less to get tinted.... I was there for 2 hours because some guy was complaining about his windows having bubbles and the taillights werent the right shade or something. so even though my car was done they had his car parked in fron of mine in the bay and couldnt take my car out.

Oh lol, one more thing. The girl at the desk said that 35% tint was just the right shade for my car since its so bright! She said that if it were any darker my car would look like a bumble bee. I told her my sister had a yellow specV and did a darker shade, she called her car buzz. Then the desk girl said well was her car the sportier car? I said yes.... She said well, its okay on the sporty lookin cars.

(im thinking to myself, did you even turn around and look at my car?)

the 30 day stuff is just to get the "3M" off of the tint itself. you can roll your windows down and clean them for like finger prints after a week or so. but the accually "3M" thats printed on has to come off with rubbing alchol i belive. thats why its 30 days.
