Well first post on here and thought it'd be appropriate in the CT regional forum. Saw a massive VW car show in Milford, CT Silversands beach. Vw really does have such a huge following here.

Saw this today at work parked on level 7. It's an '05 arrival blue Cobalt SS. I really like this color. Sorry to say Metallic, but arrival blue > laser blue IMHO. Anyway, first one I've seen in this color. Might have considered holding off for one, if I had.

Looks like '05 is the only year they made this color.

1 of 468. Damn.

Awesome photo. I saved it on my computer. I haven't seen the black or N/A one. Of course, I usually show up for 8:30pm-ish. Maybe different shifts?

Hey, I'm new to the area and just wanted to know if there were any of you guys nearby. There weren't too many where I used to live so I figured I give this another shot. I posted on page 240 lol, but it was kinda in the middle of a "back n forth".

Welcome to CT, and where exactly is "nearby" for you? Your location still says South Cackalacky so it's sorta hard to tell what part of the state you're moving to (not that CT is exactly all that big of a state, but still!)..

I'm stationed at NSB New London, so I live in Groton. I think I saw one other SS the other day, but I'm sure there's got to be more around here haha

I need a new throwout bearing... So I am going to get an LNF bearing. While I am in there, I wanted to spend only a few bux more on getting the clutch setup a little beefier.

I don't do dig racing and its my daily driver. Just highway fun basically. I am looking at going with a 6 puck sprung from NORKOR in CT, with the stock pressure plate. What do u guys think? I am going to only run a 2.8 with boltons.. Down the road maybe a slighter smaller pulley and meth.

I'd personally stick with a fullface clutch disk with a heavier pressure plate if that's really all you plan on doing to the car man. Better yet, just get the full stock lnf clutch or the gmpp lsj upgrade kid (they're both basically the same pressure plate and clutch disk). You'll get better drivability from a fullface disk and better clamping force from the heavier pressure plate, so it's really the best of both worlds.

Just my educated opinion..
