the stock and his *aftermarket* HP ratings is what made me chuckle.... 350hp with just a CAI aftermarket cat back exhaust and probably a very mild super chip tune.... And isnt the LNF stock Hp 260 not 270? CT cobalts gotz MOAR powa!

My car is officially a CT car now. I have a ct license, insurance, registration and plates. I must say the white and blue plates look much better on my car then the jersey plates did. When I took my car for the visual inspection report I thought I was gonna fail when the shop lifted the car and saw my open dump. Didn't say anything and just checked if I was running a cat....phew, I was planning on playing dumb and going to say I didnt know what the dump was.

Thanks. I used GuitarRig for all the guitar tracks... just went direct and used that vst with a touch of reverb and compressor. It sounds almost as good as the real 4x12 cab my guitarist has, but the cab was too harsh sounding. Hes got a new one now, go figure. But for what we wanted... quick album on a zero budget... this was fine for the sound we could get....

Well it's come to that point, haven't been on here in a very long time. Selling the car because I got a 2012 Wrangler. It's an 2007 SS S/C 118k asking $6000 firm. The craigslist posting says it all, tell your friends! 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged 245 WHP best way to reach me is my phone # on craigslist ad but I will try to check back here soon. Thanks folks, it has been a fun ride, met some cool people throughout the years! I will probably still show up to random meets as much as I can.

I use Cubase5.1 with a Presonus FirePod (or whatever they call it now). But I do agree that going direct loses some real-ness of the guitars. Although considering this is a d.i.y. recording, I cant complain toooo much

currently I use adobe audition, and an m audio fast track, but I'm upgrading to protools 10 (i was staying away from it since i completely forgot everything about it since i last had it which was in protools 3 lol) I'm trying to download podfarm 2.5 if I can get it to work I'll shoot it over to you
got pod farm .. it's pretty damn good, I also got protools 10 if you want that as well lol

yea from what my friend that works at a studio says.. guitar rig also doesn't help the non real sound in his ( and my) opinion pod farm gives a more "real" tone easier it's not that you can't get it with guitar rig it's just more difficult, some re eq'ing could definitely go a long way for it though.

Yeah... I think Protools has the best quantization features hands down. But I tried to keep the feel of everything as raw as I could in this mix. We played to a metronome, but I didnt quantize anything, and tried to EQ sparingly. I like how it came out because its an accurate representation of what we sound like. If we had paid someone I'd have expected more ;p
