It's either that or live with the 30+psi spike I get in between shifts currently with just the bpv..

Nope, not in the least bit awesome I can assure you. I have many logs from other cars showing similar large off-throttle spikes like this. The bpv just does not react fast enough unfortunately. It's bad enough to where it can actually cause damage to the turbo itself. Here are a couple screen shots. The first one is with just the bpv and the second one is the bpv and bov together. Notice the circled large spike and turbulence/flutter over the maf as well. Not cool. After I installed the bov it miraculously disappears.

I didn't so much notice it between shifts as much as I did at the very end of a pull. I just pulled up a log David had sent me from your car a little while back. You are indeed getting a spike as well in this log.

Not that I found unfortunately. I tried tuning it out via the surge limit tables, but to no avail. It's a mechanical issue so I don't think it can really be tuned out regardless.

Oh nice! This was Friday night when they clinched the division. Good time good times!

I wish I had known that you were a Sox fan. I actually had an extra ticket and I might have invited you to come along if I had known. :/

Where if it located ill take a look at it. I replaced the starter and battery and it still sometimes will start and sometimes the starter will just spin and the motor wont do anything.

It's the connections going to the cars computer. Undo them, clean out both sides with some electrical cleaner, let fully dry, re-seat the connectors and hopefully that solves the problem.
