Oh last friday by the way......TRACK PREP HORRIBLE!!!!! I don't think they did anything at all since I was like the first one there, and the whole time I was out on the bleachers....they did nothing to the track. Plus it was like 40 degrees out.....EVERY1 was spinning. Even the freakin bikes

 

was it packed? u only got 3 runs in..that kinda sucks. is it always busy on fridays and 2morow is gonna be nice out. first time going to e-town.

 

yeah I'm planning on the bad prep. (slicks...!!!) but I just want to get my launches down on the track. For some reason I can out launch anyone on the street, but my car is a dog at the track. I did just install a few new suspension goodies I haven't tested at the track yet, so I can't wait to see how it hooks now. I'm just hoping my stock clutch holds up. Probably pick up a new one in 2 weeks anyway just as a backup.

and sean, launch easy? you have an auto... just hit the gas and go lol. BTW brake stall it up at the line and try and leave around 1500 rpms... should take off nnive

and e-town usually only lets you get 3-4 passes regardless. I was there last year and maybe a total of 50 cars were there, I was done by like 12:00 with all 4 runs..

 

if u hit the gas and go i spin. yeah ill have to rev it up and launch it. i think my limiter is around 2400rpm..so maybe go up to 2000rpm and launch it. im very curious on what i will run. any idea paul?

 

probably somewhere in the mid 15's or so

 

if i could get that..ill be a happy cobalt owner. i mean thats not bad with a tune n a intake. and the tuning can get more advanced with injectors and a wideband and then my exhaust bolt ons. cant wait for 2morrow.

its on the way to pauls for me. if u take the northern its exit 35. u take that south about 3-4 lights and the sears is on the left. just parallel with the broadway mall. sound easy to find..brian where u coming from?
