oh and of course my car was breakin up real bad in third my first 3-4 runs and I couldn't figure out why it was basically dying at 5800 rpms... well .. I forgot I still had some of my street safety things in my tune (i.e. once IAT2 goes over 160 degrees,,,, 50% boost) fixed that and banged out the 13.4 but by then it was too late. track was cold, a few people blew up and track prep was all but non-existant. but now I can launch the car hard with no hop whatsoever. Now just need it to hook up

i went this morning to E-Town!There were 2 other s/c'd cobalts there. one running mid 15's. wtf? the other was running high 14's.
The real news is that i broke into the 13's today. on my first time out to the track this year, on my stock pirrellis.

Had a great time. It was nice meeting everyone. Unfortunately wasn't able to hit elevens. Was my first time to the track. By the time I finally started to figure things out the sun had gone down and the track went to ****. Anyway can't wait to go next time.

y? save the cash and buy some more mods, then go to driving school if you think the cobalt can't be fast..

I almost took that modded evo... he had me by a fender. and I was even off the line with him too

 

what did the evo run? the vids aren't working for me.

i beat a stock sti from a dig, bad driver? maybe, but IDK cause it was on RT. 38 not the track. i think mine has a 13.5 in it next time i go. maybe i can get in more than 2 runs.

the announcer made fun of me, sort of, when i ran a 17 with no traction. he said " and the cobalt with a 17 second pass. Thats probably not the S/C'd cobalt."
Then when i ran the 13.8 he said that the civic Si vs. me was an unfair match, and that i would lose.
we went... " I stand corrected, that cobalt is supercharged!"
I love how they have their own radio station. 90.3 FM

 

i know somtimes i get pissed about my camaro's i dont have ne more lol just gotta stick to my guns huh

 

please do, bro. it would be a shame to lose a good cobalt owner to the AWD jap darkside.
the aftermarket support was slow at first, but you'll see.. i think by the end of the season i can run 12.90's with no additional power mods. (traction Mods will be heavily added )
stick it out for 1 more season, save yourself some cash and smoke an evo at the end of the summer, or early next year.
BTW what are your MODS and times?

holy street fire. this is taking so long for these vids. wow 13.8 with no traction mods. thats mad good. if u had some traction mods u cud def get that down easily.
