few of us heading to E-Town on april 2nd. so who else plans to go? this is 1 week from today (sunday)

well, i believe us NY'ers are gonna head out there round 10am...so figure 11:30...will get more details later in the week

I would go there again but i'm still not old enough and my parents won't sign the paper and notorize it. . I'd definately go if I had a ride down there though because there would be no point in putting miles on my car/wasting gas money to just spectate since I live like an hour away.

 

i'll probably show-- might not run though.

Opinions on racing
Dad- "my car is faster than yours but... go for it"
Mom- "If you race your car you're out of this house."

so i have a little dilemma when it comes to running my car lol.

 

I might as well go...the fiance works there on Sundays and I can get in for free anyway...

 

Hey mike, what car does your dad have? That's awsome that he's ok with you running your car. Both my parents say no, but I mean I kinda don't blame them. But hey, you only live once.

i will run just because, im addicted, i dont have the mom dad issue because for some reason my parents only think of cars as transportation, lol they dont even know what my car being supercharged means haha, lol yeah chris while it was in the shop i said "f it y not modify tha balt" haha

 

Run your Fathers car! That way you can say, yeah, his is faster. Two, you're not racing "YOUR" car, so Mom can't kick you out!

 

Well my dad has a 2006 f150 but he also has a 2002 mustang gt covertible-- mineral grey.
modded with flomaster exhuast, new throttle body, 410's in the rear, intake, and a few other goodies. I think i'd need a roll cage to run it, correct?

Actually-- i'd like to run my mom's 2004 cadillac deville-- see what that thing runs. It's fast for a big car.

 

That's awsome. I wish my dad owned a sports car/or car that he modified.

a buddy spoke to the track and they said "yea, u have a sport compact. ull be able to race". so, e-town on sunday is a go!

 

for anyone on long island going to E-town tomorrow. we are planning to meet at the green acres mall on sunrise hwy (its just west of peninsula blvd). we are going to meet around 7:30am so dont be late!

 

Wait wait wait...

So cobalts can race april 2nd at etown???

If so Ill be there... whats the earliest I can run?

track opens at 8am. any sport compact can run in the event. leaving the island here round 7:30 so we should be there around 8:30-9:00.
