why not Cabelas in hamburg? the back of the parking lot we had a meet there some years back and noone bothered us. I'm sure thats within a reasonable distance for most people. i'm assuming most of us are from harrisburg or southeastern pa so thats almost a halfway mark towards harrisburg.

i'm going to send a pm to the OP and tell him he needs to check in to this thread. problem with car clubs is exactly what probably happened to him. everyone is always for em an then once a few bumps in the road are hit and peoples enthusiasm dwindles then the club tends to fade away. i've seen in with many car clubs. we'll see if he checks in, i'll send him a pm now.

hey guys, if location is not good, which most seem to thnk its an o.k. place so far. then give new location possibility. ALSO instead of saying depends on what day, throw out some day ideas that way we know what may be the best for everyone potentially. hopefully this is organized to obtain the most people possible an if one or two people can't make it they can still join moving forward.

 

i'm assuming the OP would also need a techie to run a facebook page or something and everyone that joins the crew can be a part of that. networking always leads to more possibility and opportunity.

sorry ive been really busy at work this past week and a half.. so is cabelas something everyone seems to agree on? ill try contacting them and seeing if it would be possible to use a section of their lot on sat the 18th> is that still a good day for everyone i know abunch of people on here said that they already had something going on so we can always try to pick something that work for everyone? just let me know ill be on often now other than sat cuz i have a wedding. and if someone is really good with the internet who would like to start up a page that we can get everyone to join that it sounds like a good idea.

I think the majority of people were good with Cabelas in hamburg. i think 2010SS was the only one who wanted it somewhere in york but thats cuz he's close to the md border. york is a good 2 hr drive for me tho. i'm good almost any weekend as long as we have it all planned out and i reserve the day.

any place would be good if its in a comparable distance to the majority of people. if you know of a good spot centered for everyone then put it out there. I just threw out a centered landmark that most people know where it is and thought it was between most of the people here. anythings good, i don't like most people wanna drive more than an hour for a meet to a club that may or may not happen

 

I like the idea of cabelas, huge parking lot, couple restaurants right there and its an hour drive for me and ill be bringing hopefully 3 other guys with ss/tc's, i was just talking to them about it yesterday.

 

I'd say cabelas and September sometime I think would be good what about the first or second weekend
