Arasapha farm. Number 4 in the country rated by the travel channel.

Oh yeah. By the way. Like 1000 times better then Eastern State Pen. I thought that was like a tour more then a haunted house.[/QUOTE]

i was there a few years ago and had the same impression, felt like a tour. didnt think it was to bad though

That's almost a 5 hour drive for us though. A little TOO far for a haunted house.

On another note, anyone going to George Romero's Fright Fest at Station Square? Sounds interesting, I haven't heard much about it, i.e. whether it's worth it to go.

Dan, I'm thinking you mean Dixmont, the one Matt mentioned. Otherwise there's just the Scream Asylum (which is actually supposed to be pretty decent) at Trader Jack's in Bridgeville.

ive been to fright fest the past two years...im not going to go there this year. it was basically the same thing both years, bunch of zombies running around and strobe lights.

the biggest thing they changed was the lighting...there are no pitch black rooms or halls anymore, plus they added a bunch of security guards to each room that sit in the corner and try to blend in.

its more for younger people...early teens...than anything in my opinion.

i liked it the first year but last year i think was a waste :{

Alicia, I think that is it. I've seen pics of it before, and that looks like it. I didnt know the name though.

I'm down for driving down there. I'll be gone this weekend, but any other weekend I'm in. Let me know.

I can do next Friday (28th I think?).

Hey, since Pitt is off next weekend, you up for a road trip with me and Wes? I'm not doing the track day - I'm too broke and it's going to be too cold for the R-comps and I don't want to tear up the Neros. Wes and I were thinking about going out to State College for the Witch's Rally out there. Should be a lot of fun. It's a road rally/poker run/really tame Fear Factor type thing.

There's a party afterwards with cash bar, followed by a keg party at the ex's house, followed by a trip to downtown State College if you're interested. I'm fairly sure I can find people places to stay as long as there's not like 10 people going.

Problem was I have 2 classes and the paper wasn't due until my late class. Which I sort of skipped last week because I didn't want to drive up to IUP for just one class. So I had to stay. But I made it back in 40 minutes, LOL.

Is anyone still interested in going to Moundsville Friday night? It's honestly not that far away. We passed the exit on the way out to Columbus and it's MAYBE an hour and 15 minutes to get there, it's not a bad drive at all.

Yes, I am still interested. Do we have any sort of timeframe set up? I get off work at 4.

Do we have to get tickets before hand? I thought I read that on their page...and whats the cost?

guess i could just go read the website again...

They recommend you get them, I do think we have to set a time to go but I'm not sure. I can check on that.

It'll be $16 a person to go, you can get the tix through their site, it'll take you to Ticketmaster and you get them through there.

Does 8:30 work? That should give us more than enough time if we leave by 7, traffic will be cleared out pretty well by then. We can go earlier/later, I really don't care. I don't want to get home too too late.

Looks cool, unfortunately cash is very tight right now with work being so slow. I still plan on going to Beaver Run on the 29th though...

Looks like Im going to have to stick with a case of beer, the ouiji board, some candles, and old Quaker Falls cemetary by the house if I want any Halloween/Haunted fun. Took some pictures there last time, and got some really weird orbs that were definately moving. (Using a high end cannon camera, $4k+). Also took some digital recordings and got some weird "white noise" voices and such....

I'm actually not going to BeaveRun now. Money's tight for me too, and it's just too cold for me to run. Plus my friends are doing a Haloween thing in State College.

I'll be going up to BR a lot next year though.
