Hey is anyone near WNY that could meet up that has all the 06 licenses unlocked. I get codes that were not turned off for my cat and misifres. I would like to turn them off and if they would be up for some street tuning to dial mine in. I have a bit of a rough idle so i think we should raise it 100 - 200. Also my car surges at part to 3/4 throttle. Runs great wide open, but wide open in fifth in traffic blows plugs consistantly.

Just wondering if anyone would be up for helping me out. I can give you some cash if needed. I definitely need to get these codes all turned off.

As for tuning I've tuned over 5 local guys that will vouche for my tuning.

His car is running weird cause he installed TAG spark plugs which have caused problems (bad coils) for local guys aswell.

First off its not the plugs. The plugs are gone have been gone and were gone the day we tuned with you. The reason I called and told you what happened was because i wanted to see your excuse.

All of these problems you guys have with Tags stuff are not because of Tag. Second Mase has never given me anything I have not paid for, so that will end that there.

This guy is the one that causes your problems with Tags tunes. He is inexperienced and thinks that he actually knows what is going on. My car is in horrible shape only after he HIMSELF tryed to tune my car three times. Well he failed all three. I know what the problesm are but when I pay money and he gets his share I feel as if it should be done the correct way. Second, f you get his tune and it doesnt work, he wont back it. Basically he tells people to screw off. Third yes he has had some lucky tunes but all the tunes you guys have gotten mailed were his. Not Tags official tunes that they had time to fine tune. He claims he is one of the best and I know for sure he isnt.

If i could afford $600 I would have bought HP and tuned myself. Considering Ive spent a few years tuning aformula car and I have the experience working in performance shops with dyno's and tuning. But again when I pay for parts and the tune I want it done right.

Now I am looking for someone to help me tune and I will most likely be going to a reputable shop in my area or back up to tag to fix the few minor issues I have left.

Please lock this post moderators, it should not have gotten to this, but I can tell you that Mase here is not someone you want spreading the word or his parts on this site. Tag is a great shop and do nothing to get things right, that is why Mase is no longer affiliated with them.

 

Not trying to but heads here , but instead trying to help a guy out , I am in Rochester , NY and have done a bunch of these cars and I have a dyno , if you don't have time to go back to Tag I can help you out .

funny, my car runs mint with mases custom street tune..........
In mases defense he will be the first to tell you he is still learning, he figured out why you kept going rich and now incorporates this in all his tunes, ive been sayin this forever, canned tunes are waste of time man,even local flashes are sketchy, mase flashed my exact tune to a buddy of mine with almost the exact same mods and he got a lil knock where i get none....They guy spent alot of time trying to help you out man, but when **** goes down like this tempers arise obviously, my car was street tuned by mase recently with a wideband, my cars a/f ratio is 11.3 at wot across the board, runs strong, we just have to play with the LC-1 settings a bit to make the car idle smooth at initial start up, other than that, car is mint and safe! right now its at my dealer cuz some bitch side swipped it while it was parked in front of my buds house, thats another story...but good luck with your car man, im sure this can be resolved in an adult manner.

 

well i wanted it resolved in an adult manner, but mase took it past that, with his PM and text messaging. I guess someone going out of town for an extended time doesnt fly with him. But oh well

also what im speaking of as to resolving in an adult manner is that Mase will not do warranty or guarentee his work unless you are a friend of his. Basically he seems to always play a game on the phone if you try to get his help. Thats why he will sit here and throw claims, to try and redirect his faults.

 

Im in wny with hptuners, where abouts are you, if you still need your car logged.
