Yup, we don't stand a chance if those muscle cars have been modded or are running slicks.

But if they're stock (unlikely) we've got a chance!

Below is what Dream Car Garage got when a while back they tested some muscle cars exactly as they were delivered from the factory:

Videos on Streetfiret:

Chris, remove all the mods from your car and sell them!

First off ... you'll make some $$
Second ... running no intake with an open exhaust will make your car go faster!

And Frank you better break into the 13's with the Stage II. I don't want to hear any excuses.
I ran 14.8 stock, so your looking for a 9/10 drop just from Stage 2? I dunno man ...

But just in case, let me get some excuses ready:

"My clutch is bad!" (nope, got that fixed)
"It's my first time at the track!" (nope, made 3 runs before with the car)
"My car's not broken in yet!" (nope, got 8k on her now)

Umm, how about ...

"My car's making too much power with Stage 2, I can't hook up!"

Yeah, that's it!

Ok, I'm all set now ...

(seriously Chris, I've had the flu or something going on like 3-4 days now - I hope I'm better by Friday)

^Would've removed himself from car to make it faster if it were it possible ...

LOL

Personal Update: body aches are letting up some, but sinuses are draining so much I have to take a box of kleenex with me wherever I go - what a week to get sick. Still up in the air then about tomorrow ...

I'll do it for half price since i'll only be able to be there for half of the day. Otherwise i'm not gonna bother.

Frank you can go, when you sneeze face the back of the car so it propels you forwards thus giving you a better ET!!!!!

I understand your dilemma with class and all, but things aren't usually done that way in this world.

Considering the size of my nose ... 10 sec. ET's ftw!

I'm out too. In 5 days I haven't even come close to shaking this bug yet.

Looks like LVD wasn't meant to be for either of us this time around ....

Well, two words for me: Clutch slip

But it was neat to see the other people run and a few posted their best numbers yet! The Jannetty's red SS/SC with just stage 2 and catback (on snow tires no less) ran a 13.7

When my brother sorts through all the photos and videos, I'll try to post some of them up.

And to shutzero: Thanks for letting me beat on your 'balt a little. Sorry I lost so horribly to the Si. :P

There will be another one in September. Plenty of time to set aside $100.

In early April. It had the proper break in period. I spoke to Ted today and hopefully we can get CM to replace it for nothing.

My girls TransAm took off 6 inches of the ring gear that day. At least gears aren't that expensive, I'm hoping I can get them warrentied from Richmond.
