finally its all fixed! well the check engine light is off... first the sc inlet sensor and baro sensor plugs were switched then the o2 sensor wasnt plugged in and the plug on the o2 was melted so got new o2 and no codes but i think im boostin to high possibly a clogged cat. its boostin 18psi i was only at 15-16 on the 2.79 w/stock head now with a ported head and blower on a 2.7 im at 18?

my friend that worked at a performance exhst shop said beat on the car then use a laser temp sensor and if theres a 200* diff. before and after the cat then i got a clogged cat. so guess what im doing tomorrow

Hey guys told you I'd update when we're done. Dyno'd yesterday both turbo cars did very well.

Red car did 560 rwhp and 640 torque on VP race gas and 50:50 methanol around 26 psi or so. The green car did 685 rwhp and I believe about 628 tq on pump gas (93) and 50:50 methanol around 28-29 psi.

i know that green one, i see it at shadybrook cruise night on tuesdays. he thought he was only mid 500 when i talked to him. funny i always wanted to know what it did on the dyno

 

green one looks like a super sleeper.... seriously... now I want an E30 3series damnit.

 

Hey man yeah thats my car. I figured I'd be safe by saying 500 - 550 since I hadn't dyno'd. I am around the red car all the time and figured I was close. I guess I was a little to soft in my estimate haha.

ya i want to make a "dedicated" track car that is streetable. E30's look like so much fun, lotta support, light, doesnt need a lot of power, good handling.

And or throw a stock S52 in it and it would move pretty good.

yea here was mine.. one owner 89 325i salmon silver bought it off a oriental lady for 500 bucks 89k on it hahaha i stole it. then some ******* had to f it up and put me in a guard rail i miss this car so much i had alot into it and a turbo kit that never got to instal. By far the best car Ive ever had, i just found another one identical to what i had but a 90 325i 5pd. cloth interior tho. for 2k with 130k on it.. As for the sensors, i fixed them the following day and solder them instead of using those butt connectors. and there working great now and no leaks..

 

ya im looking for a 318is / 325is atm, might even go with an e36 since, well, there is so many more of them right now in ok shape, and parts will be easier to come by. Makes me want to get an m3 tho, but i dont wanna spend that much on another toy. Good friend of mine is a bmw driving instructor for the bmwcca, has been buggin me to bring the cobalt out but so far ive been pretty good about not beating on the car...

im starting to waiver.
