any ideas on what to do in central ma? what about making a day of it at six flags or something we could take up a whole section of parkinglot there stay for the day then go to eat after and cruise around if the track day doesnt work

 

Hmm thats a good idea. Would have to make it a day when its at least warm enough to go on a roller coaster. I assume if you guys can afford car payments you can afford Six Flags, and we might be able to get a group rate too.

Good idea! We have plenty of time to brain storm so if you have any idea at all of what to do just pop it in here guys!

 

We should find some friday night or saturday cruise night and rep balt nation. Then perhaps get some food and beers later haha. Chocolate milks for those of us who are still tykes lol.

Id be down for this meet im in southern nh as well i may not have the balt in the spring may be in a wrx working on an sti turbo swap but would still like to go down and check out peoples cars and meet some people from the site. Im down for anything so just let us know

Yeah I am trying to do just that!

I am liking this Six Flags idea. Going to a bar though, not so much. Car meets generally turn into people screwing around with their cars, adding alcohol to that is not something I personally want to do. Again, if folks want to go to a bar after feel free to arrange it.

I am going to start a poll to see who would want to go to a Six Flags meet. Pretty sure we can get a good discount on a group rate if we have enough numbers. Park the balts next to each other in one of the back lots, hang out for a bit, head to the park and have some fun.

If anyone else has some suggestions let me know!

my self and a a few other guys over ar rlf have meets about once a month usually in concrod, mass and we are having one feburary 24th at 10:00 a.m. it is a sunday for any one who wants to go.

DIRECTIONS AS FOLLOWS:

From the West: take I-495 to Rt. 2 East towards Boston. Continue on Rt. 2 East (second exit) at Concord Rotary. Take Right at second light onto Baker Ave. (first light is at the prison just after the rotary) Continue on Baker Ave. until you must go either left or right. Go left. Park in the Upper Lot.

From the East: take I-95 to Rt. 2 West. Follow Rt. 2 to the Left at the second traffic light (Crosby's Corner). You will eventually pass Emerson Hospital on your left and go through 2 closely spaced traffic lights.

Go up over the hill in the right hand lane and exit to the right at the next light. You will see a Papa Razzi and a Hotel ahead and to your right. At the next stop sign, you're going to bang a left-hand u-ey and head back towards the light at Rt. 2 that you just took a right at. Go straight across Rt. 2 onto Baker Ave. Continue on Baker Ave. until you must go either left or right. Go left. Park in the Upper Lot.

Alternately, you can go straight through the light and go 360* around the concord rotary and then follow the directions as if you were coming in from the west. DO NOT take a left at the light on Rt. 2. Many people die there each year trying to cross 2 lanes of 45+ mph traffic.

Alternately, you can take a Left onto Rt. 62 west at the second light right after Emerson Hospital. Then, take a Right onto Baker Ave. at the next light on Rt.62. It will be in between a Citizen's bank and a Mobil. Go straight to the end of the street.

Folks should check out the Six Flags thread I made in North East. Between this board and another I have 12 people so far. Couple more and I will find out more info on price etc.

 

im down for a 6 flags trip pm me the link for the forum and ill head over there and sign myself up depending on the weekend because of football season starting up but i dont see any problem so far only thing is that i will prbably be trading in the ss/sc next week for a wrx so its up to you guys if you want me to head out or not its slightly modded and will hopefully have a bov on it by then, right now its lowered, turbo timer, short throw shifter, the guage pod on the dash, k&n drop in intake, sti seats and some winter and summer rims and tires going down to the dealership saturday to see what kinda price i can get but if you guys dont care id like to go to the meets i know joe from the site so wed probably drive down together

 

count me in on the concord meet as long as its not raining or snow. She dosent like either to much. be nice to actually meet another balt/rl owner. not many ss/sc around centrral mass i guess.
