How long does this usually stay up till? I might get off work 10-10:30 but I assume everyone is done by then.

I just drove by @ 5:30... and there IS cars there, but not many right now.

Since it's a cool night, and it was crpapy today, I feel there will be a small turnout, but still a nice one.

Yep that was me. you are the one that told me about this website. and by the way, i stopped up at the car cruise and saw 2 cars and it was like 5:00. so i figured noone was going to show up so i went to butler for the night. visiting my mommy for moms day and what not so.... i was thinking maybe everyone could get together friday or something up there if they wanted to... get a chance to meet everyone. unless you all have better lives than me and actually have plans, haha. but let me know.

 

Yeah, I drove by @ 5:30 and was surprised to see cars there.

It tunred out to be a great night weather wise, and we had a bunch of us there afterall.

As far as getting together again.....

I don't know what everyone else has going on, but I have a wedding this weekend, so I will be out of pocket until Sunday, when we go Autocrossing.

Weeknights are usually bad for me since I work very early in the AM. I'm sure most others are always open to getting together, providing they have no plans.

OK.. I'm typing too much again...

 

Yah working in the AM sucks ass. I start work at 5:30 and thats on an 8 hour day, if i have to work 10 hours i gotta start work at 3:30 which means i get up at 2:45. For me being 19 i hate it. Most kids my age dont go to bed til 3 in the morning and im getting ready to go to work, man does it suck lol.

 

Lol, woot another meet. I'm off a work all this week except Fri, Sat, Sun.

That reminds me, since I work on Sun I won't be running in the Auto-X but I will be there to watch most of it. IIRC I work at 5pm so I will be there most of the time.

 

Yah if anyone wants to meet up before the auto X sunday i am willing unless something comes up later in the week.

yeah, I wasn't sure if the post meant that he wanted to have a meet sometime between now and the AutoX, or if he meant that he wanted to caracan up with others and meet somewhere to do so before everyone left.

I'm southEAST of the city as are a good portion of the gang.

I understand people have am jobs. i work in the Air Force and get up at 4 every morning and dont get home till 6pm so i understand. i just figured friday, wouldnt be that terrible staying out a little later considing that saturday is a sleep in day. and you being 19 and what not, yeah i feel the pain, i just turned 21 in jan. and dont go out, i go to bed when most people are going to the bars or clubs. i just might have the most boring 21 year old civilian life. haha oh well, just think itll pay off in the end.

 

Well, I know plenty of people that lead mroe boring lives, and they have NO excuses....

Might I add a big THANK YOU for serving your country. I for one appreciate the work and sacrifces that each of you put in to protect us. Doesn't matter if you're on the front line or working in the offices.. You ALL make a difference. I find people don't say that enough ( I am guilty of it at times as well ), so I want to make a point to do so.

I'm in my 30's and I get up around 3:30-4AM each day. BUT I get out of work @ 2:30 if allgoes well. But my evenings are still shot. Friday.... I just want to sleep by then....

I appreciate you saying you appreciate the military. not that many people are really for it. they say we kill people. well yes i guess the military does. then my arguement is, well i work on the Jet engine, i dont go and shoot people. then they retaliate in saying well you fix the jet to blow up people and transport other soldiers to kill. if anyone is thinking that i am sorry you think that way. but that is the way it goes for our country to have the freedom to do things like... drive your car around. hopefully to you all that makes sense. because thats the way it is...

You SHOULD be proud of what you do. I have friends and family that either are or were in the military and while I never served, I can't say I understand what they did for our country, but I respect it and them for it.

I usually get out of work by 2:30PM, and after I get home and take my geritol and change my diaper, I'm usually good to go by 4:30....lol

Brian......I am bringing an extra helmet incase anybody wants to use it. As you know I will not be running unfortunatly. So you can just use mine for the day.
