FWIW, the KDWs have a BETTER treadwear rating than the 'Lops. The OE tires are 280, the KDWs are 300 and the KDWs are also $40 LESS per tire on TireRack...

Good luck with the trial. Let me know how it goes. I'll see you before then though. Maybe I'll let you borrow that book anyway just for some last minute pointers.

Wow. Way to go. I haven't read a book for fun since high school let alone write one. We enginerds only have to do math and science.

I'll think about the cult excuse. I'm not sure if it'll work though...

I'm up for Monroeville, say 7ish? Dunno if that's too late.

Much as I'd like to, Greensburg is a bit of a hike for me.

But you all seem closer to it, and I'm the odd one out. By all means, no change of plans on my account.

(However, I've done a lot of driving around Monroeville, and I think there are ricer conventions every Friday and Saturday night. I smell trash talking and ass-whoopin )

Well yeah, unless you WANT to pay $160 per set for the Dunlops, that's up to you. Check em out on TR and see what you think. I think I'm going to be trying out the KDWs this time as well. Can't go wrong with cheaper, better treadwear, and better handling!!!!!

Monroeville is typically the most central. We've got people coming from north, south, east, and west of there, plus it's pretty easy to get to for everyone being right off the Turnpike.

Haha...I've been doing research.

...just didn't click on the "spec" button. Just assumed the Lops would last longer...ass outta u and me.

Plus, after last winter, and since I'll be moving closer to Duquesne Univ., I plan on driving as little as possible once late fall -- winter rolls around. I almost...ALMOST considered all seasons. *Shudders* I'll take the damn bus, thanks, or walk

WOW.... alot oto catch up on tongiht!!! I was at TJ'S in New Stanton for 50 cent wings... sooooooo

Karla... I live like 2 mintues from Blazers... I have to be in GBG for 6 that night, so I'm out as far as a meet. Karla... Keep an eye out for my black SS/SC whe you're in Irwin. I'm only 1 of 2 from what I hear. Dave's in GBG, so he don't count...

I went to Essey's in Rostraver Saturday to pirce tires.... Khumo's .. those esctas there are a few more than @ TR, but everywhere I've talked wants between 20-30 a tire to Mount & Balance them if I don't buy from them..... so, long story short... I'm going with Essy's. After tax, tire disposal and all that I'm paying about $8 more a tire... but I'd rather give local places the biz if they can come close. They're calling me to let me know when they're coming in.

I have 24K on mine now, and they are getting a bit low. Lower than Alleycats.

I'm looking very much forawrd to running this weekend. Make sure someone gets some pics of me since I can't take piucs of myself running....

Talk to you all tomorrow.. grandpa here has to get his sleep...

Oh.,... so am I like the ONLY one here that is single??? This sucks!

I don't think we picked a time / place yet haha.

I'm up for the standard Panera parking lot, in Monroeville. I could be up around 7. I usually hit up the downtown Y, so I don't have to sit in traffic (15 min commute vs. 1+ hour), so I could make it up around 7 or so.

What's everyone else think?

And Brian, no worries. Seriously -- I tried for the longest time to look. That got me in tons of trouble and craziness and whatnot.

Soon as I stopped looking, good things happened. Literally. One moment I'm heading into B&N to pick up a book, next I'm striking up a convo, as she was wearing a Duquesne Univ. sweatshirt, 9 months later...Go figure

Monroeville is fine by me, might want to pick something a little more back off the road. I'm sure the cops will be out a little thicker on a Friday evening. I wish I knew Boyce Park better, might be nice to find a cool spot to park the cars and get some good pics.

Just about any parking lot in Monroeville that is lighted will be patrolled by Monroeville's finest at some point that night. They don't really like groups gathering like that. Now if we were a bunch of guys in our 50's with Street Rods... no biggie...

Jon, you know that's a WHOLE different story..... Not something anyone should want to get into with me these days.....lol <<---- a bit bitter and jaded

I don't know Boyce park well either, but let me think about this for a spell...

I don't know Boyce, either, except it's not that far from the Panera. Has to be a decent sized parking lot somewhere there.

North Park would be a bit of a hike for most, including me, and most of us'll be there on Sunday, weather permitting.

I assumed as much about the police. They wouldn't want us doing anything as unsafe as sitting around in a parking lot or Starbucks, I guess. Best we play it safe and head to a bar...then drive.

The important thing is .... is everyone OK that was involved?? While I know the SS is your baby.... and you wrecked the beater... any car can be replaced. People can't... at least not yet.

What happened?? I know this rain is causing all kinds of problems evrywhere.

I totalled my beater (91 Z24) back in January, i know how ya feel....Just glad the SS was safe and sound in the garage when it happened......

Car is running great, I have to go bleed the system out, there is a lot of air in. Everytime I get in the car i have to pump the clutch about 10 times to get some pressure. Now I just have to fnd some time to put my exhaust on
