NJ/NY Tuning and meet up
#29
There is a big lot that doesn't really ever have cars in it right next to an Applebees near me that would probably work. Some of the local clubs have meets there on weekdays. I don't see any issues with a mid-day/ evening meet there. It's super easy to get to, it's right off Rt 80 and Rt 46.

I'm fine with meeting off of rt.80 or rt.46. I'll bring some tools and my jack for people needing some installs. Hopefully it doesn't rain. Any overhangs in that lot? For the gauge installs, if there's no electrical outlets around I'll temporarily crimp the wires together until we can get it soldered.

The sonic 1.4L T has been released through HPtuners so I don't see why we can't take a crack at it. We have been working on the GM 6speed autos recently and there has been some big improvement with just transmission tuning (quicker shifts). Pricing for a sonic though would be slightly different as it would take longer to get everyhing dials in if it is an auto and not manual. Manual would be the same price as everyone has been quoted.

Also any thoughts on a date guys? I like either August 25th and 26th or September 8th and 9th.
I updated the facebook event page for everone with the location. I think this will be our best bet since we have a main stretch essentially as well as some around town stuff too.

As I count right now just from the forum side of things there are 2 definite people coming and a possible of 3-4 others. Right now I am leaning more towards September just because it has been already an insane month so far at the shop with all the tunes, installs and meets during the weekends. If everyone is cool I think September 8th and 9th will be the best.
Once I get 4 confirmed people on the facebook event we will start accepting deposits so if you are positive you are going to need a tune and can make it those two days, join the date. Do not gift it please. We do not want to have any issues with anyone and want everyone be able to get the money back if there is a problem. We are doing this because of everyone's issues they have had with nick and we would rather you like us than hate us lol.
