I joined FB, can I be locked in for a tune? I also realized i got some powel tow hooks, maybe I can get those installed?

 

Can I get a time slot too, asked on Facebook and said not until so many people are confirmed

 

The tow hooks require drilling into the bumper support which requires a decent drill and some drill bits for drilling, well, metal lol. From the looks of things and if we have th eproper drill and bits, with the time alotted between all cars, it's something that would need to be planned delicately. We can definitly try to help you out but there is a possibility of time running out.

It looks like an exact time slot will still be up in the air for everyone but setting days isn't. We can lock you in for an appointment on a day that we're there but we are still figuring out time slots for everyone. Reason being for things like in the post I responded to above.

 

I will have access to my tools if need be. I would just need to know what size bits are needed so i can make sure i have them.

 

im in long island ill deff come i need 42lb and 3.0 pulley installed as well as a tune ... what date we looking at ?

I'm confirmed on Facebook does that mean I'm good to come Saturday for a tune. I'll also be lending a helping hand and bringing some tools. I'll also wire up gauges too, ill pick up some add a fuses just in case anyone forgets.

 

Yup! You were the first one to ask about this, post on the forum and Facebook so you will be the first one with a tune and whatever you need.

For those that have confirmed, If you could please post up your first and last name on the forum so i can get the head count correct for payments as they come in.

I wouldn't hold off too long though. With the two installs we will have, we will be looking at filler up quicker than expected. As is stands right now we can do 2 tunes and 1 install a day so with two installs coming and 2 tunes, Saturday is full and Sunday only has 2 spots left. We will be giving out the Paypal account this weekend so check both your inbox on Facebook and on the forums. It will be from either John or myself.

 

I am very tempted to join this meet/tune. Not sure if redlines are invited though? haha so what is the decision of swining over to pa? Would it be a seperate weekend or same weekend? Im just looking for a street tune and wouldn't mind making the hike over. It would all depend if time permits between saturday/sunday you guys being to busy.

We could definitely do your car if you were interested!

As it stands right now, we will both be pretty busy with not just tunes but installs as well. If you wanted to, I can set something up for the Sunday for you. Just add yourself onto the facebook page and sometime tomorrow you with either receive a message from me or John with a paypal email address so you can get yourself locked in. It is a $20 deposit and can be applied to either the cost of the tune or the fuel surcharge for us to get down there. It is a staggered system where the more people we get the cheaper the price will be fore everyone.

We are getting close to being full now guys. When you receive that email address please include your name and forum name so we know who you are. We want to make sure we have record of everyones deposits so no one gets lost in the shuffle. We will be posting up the times as the payments come through.

Matt (rivaladore im guessing) is going to be first TUNED car. Anyone getting and install has to be AT the location by 9:30. We want to make sure the install is done right the first time!

 

Yep my name is Matt. After i get tuned im going to hang around for a few hours and help you crank out those installs. I have experience installing all supercharger and supporting mods on lsj, as well as wiring up widebands and interceptors. And I did install the zzp turbo kit myself so I'm definitely no stranger to the cobalt.

 

That joint is right on my commute - about 15-20 min away. I don't need anything, but I might just stop by to see what's going on and hang a little.

 

Sounds good. We have been working another LSJ Turbo with the ZZP kit and hes run into a few issues with the canned tune so we should be fine when we come down and hammer out the rough edges on yours.

 

Bumping this up guys. John and I are giving out the paypal account either tonight or tomorrow. We ran into a slight snag with it hence why we didn't post it up. For the 3 that have locked in, you will get a private message from John sometime either today or tomorrow depending upon if Paypal gets their act together lol.

Sounds good. Let me know so we can coordinate the hotel and everything. We actually are going to make the reservation in the next week or so. More the merrier I always say. This past weekend we had about 12 Cobalts show up in total so we are used to a big crowd lol.

 

Let me know how much space is needed so i can coordinate my driveway if needed for big installs.

Also if any one is up for possibly a small cruise on some fun back roads, there is a 45 mile loop that i like to drive.

 

At this time I think there is just one install. We are bringing down all of our tools so there is no worries about stuff not leaving correctly finished but I will definitely be in contact with you about the amount of installs. I think at most it looks like 2 and the rest tunes but no one has said if they needed stuff installed just tunes but I will look into it more.

Definitely! We will see how much time we got but a night cruise is always open as a possibility.
