So my mom called me to tell me they are evacuating parts of Ocean County NJ because of a very bad wild fire which has started. My grandfathers retirement community was just evacuated...they actually put them up in Atlantic City hotels. Pretty intense stuff going on. Good chance he is going to lose his house

I heard that it started from an F-16 flare. Bad stuff.

 

Yup thats what they said on the news an F-16 shot off a flare in a training exercise, and hit caught the under brush on fire.

 

The Pinelands are like flint waiting to get their spark...gunna be a nasty fire for a while.

 

Yea, they had parts of the parkway and 35 closed off this morning...crazy stuff
