The 2.4 PCM is not as bad as some people make it sound. There just worried it has a split MAF table and dynamic airflow which you really not need to worry about. If any of the shops around you can tune a C6 vette they can tune your car.

Its not ridiculously different for 2.0 to 2.4. I mean an engine is an engine.

the problem with the 2.4's is it pisses hpt off when you jump from that to the 2.0. have to keep reloading the hpt key.

it's a bitch. aside from that. 2.4's are easy to tune.

yeah that's exactly what I did. got everything seperate...wayyyyy cheaper. now I just need to find a tuner.

now, if I get the parts installed, am I safe to drive an hour out to the tuners place to get tuned? or should I just send them the ecu?

i was told the pulley is safe to be installed as long as u don't drive it hard an go into boost.....the injectors and everything else should be a fairly easy install....jus take the tools with you

well if you want to get technical in the gm book where you read a how to install stage 1 and 2 (Power for your LSJ i think is what the book is called) its says put everything on then drive normaly to chevy to have them do a calibration tune or whatever they called it so thats chevys enginerres saying its safe to drive just dont punch it..... but i dont know if i trust chevys engineers the ones down here in tx blow *****. my dads duramax went in with 500 miles with a leaky turbo and they said they fixed it but they reall stripped out a bolt and didnt tell anyone so it make a bigger problem and we had to take it to a diffrent chevy dealer to get it fixed. also my balt is there now and they cant figure out why the batt isnt being charged they say its not the alternator they are blameing it on my wideband
