Looks like I won't be dynoing...I am looking into getting tuned in the near future, so there'd be no point in doing it now.

lol I'd get a baseline when getting a tune...I know you've had a lot of experience with SMG, would you recommend them?...What's like your overall opinion on them? Do they do any welding exhaust work?...

 

smg did my custom 2.5 full catback on my car and came out mint

SMG is a good shop, fred may be a tad slow on responses but i know that dyno has made his shop take off with business. Plus he has a few big projects going on such as Dayta's turbo LSJ

 

Ok...I just have a Over the Axle bend and muffler to be welded on, and then I just got 42's so I'd like Fred to tune me. Do you guys know like ballpark what his rates are?

I have no doubt that he knows his stuff from the projects he does, but I'm just not familiar with them, only been there once for the dyno day last october.

I'll probably be there but there's no reason for me to go back on the dyno. I'm hoping to get my car back to Fred soon so he can fab up a downpipe for us LNF guys and I can get a bigger jet for my methanol kit. I wanna break the 300HP 350ft lb mark.

 

i thought he had someone there who did it with just an intake and a tune?

Take me off the dyno list. My SRT-4 blew the clutch/tranny. Not gonna have it up and running in time. And I'm not going to dyno a V-Tec Civic. lol.

Is this true? 300HP and 350ft lbs with just a tune and intake at SMG?
I have an intake, meth and I was tuned by Fred and only got 278 and 328.
Glenn, Dana, or mkulrey13 you guys know anything about this?

 

lol dont quote me on it, but i thought thats what it was. maybe it was you with your current numbers, idk we were looking at a bunch of cars and whatnot. and what happened all of RI fell off the list lol.

 

I know nothing about that, never seen or heard. I plan on getting tuned there after i get the gm kit for the sensors and such. excited to see what i could get.
