depends, if you're gonna do a black housing or stock chrome housing. really all depends on what you wanna do. lol. I went with a black housing so I painted my reflector bowl black allowing my projector to stand out more.

Just a look thing. You can leave it chrome if you want, but I think it looks weird that way. I've seen it before in pics and doesn't really do anything for me. I like the all black housing with chrome turn signal and black reflector bowl.

I was gonna do gunmetal to match my rims, but I've been having thoughts about polishing them, so I didn't follow through with that idea. I'm pretty much the only one around here that has a TC so, I'm perfectly fine with doing mine black.

yeah my choices are...

1. all chrome
2. chrome housings with black gatling shrouds
3. color matched housings with black gatling shrouds
4. black housings with chrome gatling shrouds
5. black housings with color matched gatling shrouds

what are you guys doing for paint? scuff, plastic primer, Krylon plastic paint, then clear coat?

if i could just get my back up headlights in the car i wouldn't be worried about how long it takes me to do the full project being this is my only vehicle, and it's way too cold to run the bike maybe i'll try to get the other lights in again when i take these out when my bulbs come in

Those actually look pretty good, but I'm more of a fan of blacking things out.

I almost did white shrouds to match my bowties, but I put the chrome shroud in the hosuing and was like naawwwww, I'm keeping it chrome. I think it looks good.

On a different note, I got home from work and super pumped to mess around with my gopro hero3, just to find out I don't have a microSD card at my house... Yay, now I gotta wait for tomorrow to be over with.

ahaha, that sux Wert, go to walmart if you can't wait.

andrew, i'd say silver color matched housings and chrome or black gatling shrouds. the chrome could look good if your accenting a few other things chrome like your wheels or something, but black is usually the order of the day.

Looking good. Do the cutoffs show any blue at all? I can't really tell from your pics.

Can you post a pic from the front or a different angle to see the blue? I was possibly gonna do mine white or black, but I've left them go so far.

anybody answer my question? you're just scuffing all the chrome, then using a primer, then Krylon, then clear or what?

Yes sir. That's all I did. Scuffed with a scotchbrite pad, primed, and painted.

Hmmmm. I kinda like the blue. I might do a white...
