so my interview went pretty well today and i should be getting called out next week or the week after for training for a while, if all goes well (they like me and i like what i'm doing) i'll be given a full-time opportunity. only bad parts are it's a 70 minute drive and the training pay isn't the greatest or what i would have hoped but if/when i get hired officially it will go up. so now the cobalt is my work vehicle, she'll see around 130 miles a day, snow plowing, and construction sites... no more mods for me other than possibly rotated mounts

70 minute drive to work? That sounds terrible.

but good luck man, sounds pretty sweet from what I read on Facebook about it.

yeah, but it don't hurt to try and if it helps me out in the long run i'm all for it.

and p.s. i'm in the process of painting my lights, 1 more light coat on housings and at least 2 more coats on the shrouds. then i just need to get the reflector bowls off and do them... i'll try to post a pic later!

nice!, good luck man, hope it helps and it works out for ya. post a pic of those lights.

i was just informed while inquiring about something that a rate increase proposal was submitted for my site, if the client approves it then all my guards and myself will see a pay raise, though i'm not sure how much, it's pretty awesome.

whats everyone up to this weekend?

Padlock has a really good one, but its impossible to find if you don't type the right thing. When I get on my desktop, I'll post the link. It's spot on and step by step.

did you guys cut any part of the back of the reflector bowl off? Or did you just shave the inside of it?

Shave the inner tabs and flatten the back park.

Just flatten that part you cut. It should look flush with the back of the light.
