i painted that area too, i'm gonna reuse the amber lens' so you really won't see in there anyway. just make sure you scuff up the chrome, i used 1500 grit to scuff and still keep it smooth. i just can't wait to put everything together already...

i'm painting my reflector bowls now, i just have to put on clear. then hopefully tomorrow i can start putting everything together until bulbs/ballasts get here

 

Here is a question, if the air coming out of my vents has been gradually getting slower is that a clogged cabin filter or a dying blower motor? (no sounds from it beyond normal operating noises)

 

i'd say start with the cabin filter, i had my blower motor replaced under warranty a couple years ago because it was making a "ticking" sound. usually you get that sound if that goes

 

filter. mine did the same thing new filter and its like a hair drier on high hahaha

how did your guys reflector bowls fit back into the housings? both of mine have a gap along the inside (you can see a little of what i mean on the left one). i don't remember how they were when i took them apart so not sure if something got tweaked during the painting process or anything

EDIT: i just checked my other lights on the car and they have the same gap so everything should be good

 

TWM short throw shifter is in soooo nice. Plus the clutch is also broken in.

Just finished my MOMO e brake handle retrofit. i just orderd a whole new e-brake assembly for $35 to grind down instead of using the one on my car now im waiting on my redlinegoods boot so i can install it...
Next i need to make some retro headlights... is the wiring hard?
