I'm kind of on a budget. Does anyone know where i can get a good intake for my car? i have a 2005 Cobalt LS 4dr with the 2.2 or 2.4 liter engine. I have a bolt on job rigged right now but i'm not satisfied with it. Any suggestions? Also any problems with HIDs?? I have halo projector headlights but they don't have hids in them. any suggestions there as well. Oh and one more thing does anyone have LED taillights?? Been thinking of swapping my stock ones out with them

 

There was 2 silver(1tc and 1sc) sitting outside the lanes but didn't run, but there was a red HHR SS with slicks. Only made one pass and it wasn't good. I'm not too sure what was up.

I just got rid of my intake for a 2.2l last week

And I have HIDs in my projector housings, work fine.

I also have LED tailights by K2 motor... work awesome as well.

 

where did you get your HIDS? do you have any suggestions on a intake? Im looking at getting the black bezeled led tail lights i saw on andys auto sports website. My car is sliver and with the black projectors, black grill and the tail lights i think it look sharp.

I'm also looking at trying to score some black rims. I love the SS rims but they don't come in 4 lug style less i pay extra to have them made. (haven't found them online at least)

after i get all that stuff im planing on repainting my car a metallic sliver and doing some pin strip work.

btw my town is sad just saw some kid destroy is SS by street racing a mustang and he blew through a light and tboned some truck.

and not sure, my brother gave it to me, he had an extra set. But personally I'd just get Amazon or eBay ****... I dont want to spend $100+ on effing ballasts.

Also I had the Injen on my car, if I had to buy another one for it, I'd do a K&N, come with a heat shield.

 

i know my car isn't as nice right now as some of yalls. but anyone interested in doing a meet some time soon? ive nvr been involved in one as no one around here likes cobalts (theres alot of them but no one thatll work on them and make them better) or they all drive hondas. Be cool to ride around with a bunch of other cobalts

Used to be a lot of meets near the Bass Pro Shop in Harrisburg. There is a sonic as well, or you could always do Hershey Park lol.

Yeah except for me sadly gotta work every weekend which is getting old so the Tuesday one works for me every other week at mt joy..one weekend I get off at 3 30 for what it's worth

You guys need to keep up with this thread.. Lol, there's always a meet at the Sonic in Mt. Joy from 6pm to 10pm on Tuesdays. There's a meet at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Harrisburg at 11am on September 15th. There's a Cars and Coffee meet in Bethlehem at 9am September 8th. There's a circuit cruise every Saturday night in Hanover along there strip. Get with it or get lost
