Keep at it man. I had to earn my position. I started out as a summer help for people who are in college, proved myself to become a temporary employee, and then proves myself again to get hired full time. Hard work does pay off.

Doing summer/breaks and weekends if I want, if I still need it after college they'll just move me to full time.

 

That's always nice to have some place to fall back on if worse comes to worst.

Almost half the people that work there just continued out of college. One kid majored in mechanical engineering but he makes $30 an hour there and just said **** it.

He just bought a brand new WRX.

 

Why didn't he just get an STI? Lol. Some guy that works here just bought an all white new body style STI and it is sexy. Black wheels and tinted. It looks so clean.

 

He actually gave a good reason. He said the STi was much more expensive and for just a tune and exhaust/intake his WRX will be at the same power.

He got the fully loaded, most expensive WRX for 3 grand cheaper then the most basic STI.

And for around 1 grand he could be the same power as the STI.

 

That is smart. Something about the new bodies has me wanting one.

Anyone know how to take off the trunk struts or whatever their called

 

I would imagine just bolts

 

Theres no bolts. Like the hydraulic part of it

 

i'll look when i get home. most of the time they are clips at the end, tho on the new ones its all a complete assembly thats permanently affixed to the hinges. it's possible that our trunks are like that.

 

Small flat head screw driver there little clips on each end there's a indent where you can get under it

For $190 each wheel, you can get a wheel/tire combo online with brand new aftermarket wheels.
