yea, makes me wonder how many other people have the coil overs setup improperly and "think" they are maxed out when they really aren't.
Mike! we need to fix your setup as well.

yea, according to the forums ride height is adjusted by locking rings which is half correct.
pre-load needs to be set first, then the shock body which is held by a single lock ring at the bottom of the shock body needs to be loosened and the entire shock body needs to be moved. by doing this the shock travel is never limited or decreased and thus maximizes performance of the shocks and increasese their lifespan. although many apparently move the lock rings to gain more lowering ability which thus leads to the confusion that it is "ok" to do.

your ride height is adjusted by moving your entire shock sleeve. your springs need to be adjusted for pre-load which will make your ride smoother. its not a danger or an immediate threat but for overall reliability and a better ride we should adjust your pre-load.

Yea i'll be around Saturday workin on the car if you wanna stop down an i'll show you how to do it. i know how they work now. I also have the lock ring tools too. shouldn't take long. just pull the wheels and jack up the car an it will take a few minutes after that
