oh geez this is just a mess. i dont know what i'm gonna get.. i hear so many different things..
i know i can't put a donut on the front.. i already had a flat and had to switch the wheels around to put it on the back.. which btw i'm not doing it again.. i'll have them or my dad tow it.. it's a you know what to get them off after a dearlership put them on there to tight for me.
allycat you said it was rediculous to put them on for everyday driving... the reason i want them is 1. because i was in a car accident someone cut out in front of me i want a good pair, bc stock didn't grab worth Sh**.. and 2. they'll look awesome.. haha
i dont care how much i spend as long as they are going to work right and grab in all weather.
i want new rims anyway.. or paint my stock ones, idk yet..

No the difference is the TC knuckles have more reinforcing cast in. All the mounting points are the same. even the alignment specs are very similar between LSJ and LNF cars, only difference is LNF cars get .20 degrees more negative camber. Thats it.

All the parts needed to do the swap should run about $750+shipping from your choice of online parts store.
Compare that to at least$900+shipping for the Baer Track package.(which only has 2 piston calipers)
The only other alternatives that I know of is a caliper relocation bracket and 2 piece rotors like the Koni Challenge cars run, this a great setup too, but will easily run just as much the Brembos and will potentially cost more to service rotors over the life of the car. You could also build yourself a badass 130mm mount radial caliper system, but expect to pay north of $2000 for this.

The SS/TC rims look sick but those are gonna cost you a pretty penny too!
I'd also like to see the steering knuckles for the SC and the TC side by side cause I have a hard time believing they are the same since the brakes are so different. Besides the steering knuckles on the SC are weak as hell!!!

.........Anyway, Ill just be reordering them again probably by Turkey day, the reason I am posting is to show what the difference is between the SS and non SS knuckles, they are different but you can swap them if you want. You DO NOT however have to swap them, nor do you need balljoints or halfshafts, etc.... just to install the Brembos. I still havent taken measurements with a vernier caliper, but its fairly obvious even in these shitty Blackberry pics that there isnt a mounting pattern difference. What is very clearly visibly is the strengthening ribs cast into the SS knuckle
