PRP this week....??

Well...

According to their site, the timing and scoring system is all back and running smoothly... Now, running smoothly compared to what?? I dunno....

So, this begs the question,

If the weather holds out and there IS a TNT Wednesday... who is planning on going?

Same goes for Friday... that's Sport Compact Night there.... anyone going to go??

I might be there both nights as a spectator, but I've lost the taste for actually doing it. It's been a long weekend in both good and bad ways.

Oh... speaking of which... My 1st place at the Auto-x is not so.... found out that one guy was put in the wrong class, and he ended up winning in Ti...

Oh well, 2ns isn't that bad.

I'm not sure about tomorrow night yet... but I definitely won't be there Friday. Pitt plays Cincinatti Friday night... I'll either be at the game in Cinci, or watching it somewhere here.

I'll be there on Wednesday if the weather holds out. I wanna get some last runs in before I change out the pulley this weekend. Might make it as a spectator on Friday though.

I don't know about Wednesday, but I might shoot for Friday. I'm already behind on school work at it's only week #2 of the semester...this is not a good sign. Plus the stupid holiday on Monday screwed up my work week since I usually work Monday/Wednesday, but instead I have to work Wednesday/Thursday. Of the two nights, I'm more likely to be there Friday.

LOL and now I'm even FARTHER behind. To top off my "bad car day", I left the car out with the sunroof open last night and it rained. I came out to 2" of water in the cupholders.

THEN as I'm leaving for class I realize I don't have a parking permit, go to print my temp one out and my printer breaks.

Sooooooooo long story short I'm not going to either of my classes tonight. **** it. I think I'm meeting up for dinner and possibly a movie with Melissa, then heading out lookin for trouble with Melissa. We've both been wanting to cruise around U'town for a while to see if anyone still runs around down there that we know.

If anything's going on tonight, let me know. She and I are gonna be out all night pretty much.

Well I'll almost definitely be there Friday, and I might join the "bring the ex to the drag strip" clan. My high school ex is in town until Monday, I ran into him on my way back home from Melissa's yesterday. I was talking to him online tonight about racing, he reminded me it's been 8 years since I've terrified him in a motor vehicle. So I mentioned the track and he's interested in coming out for that, and he might come out after church to the auto-x on Sunday (he's actually a minister now...*waits to see who's gonna be first with a smart ass comment*...).

I should be there both nights. I wanna try a sport compact night since the last one got terminated. No slick cars loosing their **** on the track, and none of those ******* kids in their 4 wheel weed wackers. God I hate those things.

LOL, everybody now - "Awwww Goddamn it!!!! Why can't they put the little bastards on their own night and get them the **** off the track! Jesus F-ing Christ we're going to be here all night because of those little bastards. Isn't it past their bedtime?!"

It's actually more fun to bitch about them than it is to watch them run, LOL. Same thing at auto-x events where they run junior karts. Although the girl that runs at CPR is me and Melissa's protege - we're teaching her now to beat up on boys and it's awesome.

Actually guys just remembered I won't be making it to the track tomorrow. But I will be there Friday. If you guys do anything after the track I can probably make it then. I'll give one of you a call around 9-10 to find out.

Uh oh! Wes has "plans", LOL. j/k. I'm not sure what I have going on tomorrow night. I have plans for sure on Thursday night, then I'll be at the track Friday. I'll run for sure if Mike's tagging along...wouldn't want him to ride all the way out there with me and not terrify him at least a little bit...

Ok... 1st...

Alicia... what did you do to that poor boy to scare him into the ministry??

Wes... Stop "hating" so much... Geeeezzzz they're kids, and it's not like there are 20 pairs going down the track.... 90% of the time there are 3 maybe 4 sets... You youngins and your "hating" of everything.
I hate J-boies
I hate Jr. Dragsters
I hate ricers
Ok... off my soap box...

I'll be there as a spectator on Friday as well at least where it stands now. I need to get some car related stuff done, so we'll see.

I don't hate ricers. If it wasn't for ricers pepboys would be a waste. Plus I am a ricer. Ricers give the LEDs and Wing a purpose.

LOL, was waiting to see who would make the first comment...

Actually that had nothing to do with me, it's what he's always wanted to do. It's *sorta* why things never worked out between us. Not the minister thing per say, but he's always been on of those "if there's a rule I follow it" types. Plus he was always VERY religious, which I'm not, and he didn't really like my views on religion and a lot of other stuff. He's a great person, hence why he's the only one of my ex's I willingly spend time with. LOL, he's just, literally, too "good" for me.

Brian, us youngins have to practice hating stuff now so that when we start getting old like you we'll be really good at hating everything, just like old people are supposed to...

Actually....

With age you begin to understand that there is alot to this place and everything in it. Personally, I love 99% of the cars out there. The others, are just filler for the masses who don't care about what they drive.

I spent far far too long in my younger days being mad at the world and all that and now, I try to find the good in or a purpose for everything. I've been told by my friends that they can always count on me to stick up for someone because I will always try and see their side of things.

But maybe that's why I've always gotten walked all over, and why I'm alone ...lol

LOL, yeah, I'm a lot better than I used to be, but a lot of how I used to be was the people I was around. I'm really influenced by other people's negativity, and for that reason I've cut out a lot of so-called friends and other people, even family, because of their negativity. That's also why I have a somewhat limited relationship with my mom, because she is NOTHING but negative. **** for a little over a week after I came home from visiting her, I was in one helluva bad mood cause for a week I heard nothing but how horrible I was, why I was going to fail in grad school, how my job sucked, my life sucked, my friends sucked, and I was just going to end up with nothing.

I know what you're saying, it's totally not worth it to be like that and I hate myself when I do get into one of those moods, but as much as I try I'm STILL not to a point where I can totally block it out and not be affected by it.

Seeing good in everything and everyone isn't necessarily a bad thing, in moderation. Not EVERYTHING or EVERYONE will be good, it's just a matter of developing the skill to see through the bad ones and not judge the good ones as guilty when they're not.

I'm actually taking time off work to run tonight. I have to get a couple more runs in before I swap pullies this weekend. not too happy with the stock 14.8 from last year, so I want to do better than that tonight before I start modding. All I hope for is the weather holding out. 30% chance of scattered rain through 10pm.

Yeah Nate, you can do better. I got a 14.8 on my first set or runs EVER in a manual.

I think I might be out at the track tonight, we'll see. I doubt I do anything afterwards though. I need to get the car out and let it air out some more. I REALLY don't want mildew in the car.

So who, besides Nate and possibly Brian, IS going? Dan's out, I talked to Redline Dan earlier and he said it'd depend on work, Wes is out, BJ depends on work...doesn't look like we'll have a whole lot of people out there.
