Well, depending on what class we're talking about.....lol

Yes... as it stands today... I WILL be there as the lone D-stock rep for the Cobalts.

I am going to a car show near IUP the day/night before, so depending on how that goes, and the weather... I will be there.

Last time @ NP, there was 4 cars in D-stock... me, 1 srt, and 2 WRXs. Guess who placed 4th ( thought it WAS my 1st Auto-x ever )??

The STX class is chalked full of GOOD drivers that run some nice wrx's as well.

If Alicia comes for that day, she'll be running against them.

Oh well..... still weeks off... SCR event #7 this weekend @ BeaverRun.

Need to get more points!

If you have any questions about Auto-x... here's some links...

www.nhscc.com

www.scca.org ( just look for "solo" )

www.racepa.com ( local forums for us auto-x, drag, drift, etc... in the PA area )

THere are tons of people out there that are willing to help and share info... just say "hey, I'm new to this" and you'll get help..

Come out and check it out. If you come to the SCR event on 10/8 you could ride along with someone. NHSCC won't let you unless you're a registered driver.

I'll be at the event rain or shine. I don't care about the weather.

Come on BJ, run in DS with me.... the rain aint that bad .....I need help!

Ahh... forgot about that one BJ... good point.

Well... speaking of which...

My buddy Thom Miller of Spun Autosports has notified me that he now is going to carry Khumo, Falken and Cooper tires. The place he's carrying them thru is a local burgh place and that mean NO SHIPPING charges on them as long as they aren't needed to be orderd.

If anyone is looking for them... Like ECSTAS, Or AZENIS and such, contect him and tell him you're one of Brian's Cobalt bud's, and he might be ablet o drop a buck or two extra off... I can't garuntee it, you never know.. he's trying to drum up extra biz...

Not sure how much but he's told me that if he starts getting Cobalt inquiries, he'd be open to starting to carry stuff for our cars.

Also, if you guys come to NP... he'll be running his WRX in Street Mod, so I can introduce ya to him ( for those that don't know him yet )

OK.... back on topic

Yeah, Thom is a good guy and is always looking to help.

He's been talking to alot of different wheel companies on my behalf to find ones that are making or are willing to start making wheels that fit the Cobalts. Rota has said that if he gets 10K in orders for the wheels, they will make them.

His tires aren't listed as of yet on the site, but if you contact him, he can give you a price and such.

I'll be there for sure. Personally, I enjoy the SCR events since you have some downtime there and you can watch a bit more of the other classes, but I like them both.

I'd go... but I have a $106.50 fine to pay from last weekend. Kinda cuts into my fun budget for the week. I'm up for it after this week though... I wouldn't mind getting another auto-x in this season.

Welll....just becuase you don't run... don't mean you can't come out and support.

How many of us come out to watch the drag racing even when we're not running...

Just a thought.

I'll who I see out there.

I'm beating the snot out of the SS this weekend. I want to get some good runs.. in nice weather for once... the past 2 Auto-x's have been WET runs.

LOL, well I had briefly considered running, but I've changed my mind. Other plans came up. My friends Jen, Shannon, Robin, Bridgette, and I are thinking of going on a road trip to Cananada tomorrow and Monday...and possibly part of Tuesday, LOL. Why? Cause we can, we're all bored and need something to do and it's been a while since we caused trouble together.

I'll try and stop by on my way to Ambridge though and hang out for a little bit, hopefully I can see you guys run once or twice. We can't go anywhere till Bridgette and Robin get off work anyways.

On that note, does anyone know if you can still cross the boarder with just a birth certificate and photo ID or is a passport required now? I know they were going to change it, but I didn't know when it took effect.

BJ...

Good to see you made it and hope you had fun. I know I did. GREAT F-n job today... 3rd place I think you made. Not bad for the 1st time in that car adn on those tires... at least we both kept close to the times of the WRX guys.

Hope we get a nice course next week as well. This one was a BLAST.

Had a great car weekend, between Indiana and those freaks ( I mean that in the BEST way ) @ Slowboy racing.. those guys are great. Had a great tiem with them last night, and then today was a good day even if I placed lst in D-stock.

Anyway... so tired and sore... must rest.
