As long as I don't end up in hio fishing next weekend...I will be there next week, and running too

 

I'm sorry guys, I know I said I'd be up but I slept the hell in. LOL I was out causing trouble today. Literally. I had not one, not two, but THREE "run-ins" with the police. Two were my fault - one was me just completely blowing a stop sign, one was me taking the turn from the Ft. Duquesne Bridge onto 376 at roughly 70mph in a 35mph zone - didn't actually talk to the cop that time, I was a good piece away when I saw the lights come on way back and I just gunned it, lost him in traffic, and got off at Oakland and took the back way home. The other one was me running my mouth with the stupid Comcast people that decided they'd block my driveway and a local cop just stopping to see what the problem was.

I just went cruising with a bunch of friends. We were supposed to go to Niagara Falls today and come back tomorrow, but one girl got sick and two others couldn't find either birth certificates or passports, so that fell through. We were going to drive up to Buffalo, but then Jen's husband called and he was done with drill early so we just drove around Pittsburgh, went shopping, had a ton of fun.

Next week is up in the air. As plans stand now, I'm supposed to go to State College to auto-x up there, so I will probably not be out. It will depend on a) whether my grandparents can puppy sit the whole weekend and b) how I'm feeling. I might be driving out to State College tomorrow morning to ride down with Melissa to DC to get stuff installed on her car, then riding back to SC, getting my car, and bookin' it to IUP to *hopefully* make it to class in time Tuesday night. Then Wednesday I have to go to Presby for blood work, an EKG, and some sort of brain scan...that whole combination always puts me in a super-fun mood. So, I dunno it all depends on whether or not I feel like making two trips to State College in the span of like 5 days.

 

Brian want a co-driver for next weekend?

We'll have to just get some White electrical tape to add a "1" in front of my # plates.

Just let me know by Friday so I can plan accordingly.

There was a comment on the loudspeaker right before I went, and BJ was out there on course... said "take a good look folks, it's not often you'll see TWO BLACK Cobalt SS's out on course at the same time"

It was cool to see.

had someone make the comment to me "OK... so you aren't able to be in two places at once.. there really IS 2 cobalts running today.."

 

Now if we can talk Steve into coming up next week too, there will be 4 Black SS'SC's running, lol. But yeah, i more than likely won't be going fishing, just kind of curious how the Kumho ASX's are gonna grip in those turns...hmmm

 

I may try to be there also. Haven't autocrossed the RL yet, but hear it's fun. I have to DJ a wedding on Saturday, so I guess it depends on what time I get out of there too...not to mention it would probably be a good idea to take all that crap out of there not too sure about running autocross with the small pulley and 7400rpm limiter though. May have to step up a gear and run around 5k rpms through the track (in SM to boot, so that may not work). I don't have my helmet anymore either, so I may need to borrow one if I can go.

 

Well, they have loaners there now for the NHSCC events. They are the old SCR region ones.

I don't mind lending mine out, but if there's more than 3 of us using it, things could get dicey.

All depends on who shows up as well.

SM's times ( some of them ) we're THAT far off the best time in DS, so it might not be that bad.

 

I'll let you know..but I am fairly sure I can make it. Just plan on it for now. You have G85 right?
