NO CANNONBALL RUNS!!!

Im all for friendly competition and fun and games but there will be NO "RACE".

We may keep ourselves within our limits but you never know what the random drivers around you are going to do.

We can do something else but I wont let us fooling around risk other people sorry for being a killjoy but thats the way it is.

I would be up for a "first one to fudds" competition or a "late arrival spoof"

On another note I want to try to get the group as a whole to a car show and enter as a group. You know try to get our name out there and get others that aren't on the forum interested in the group. I'm sure you guys remember back when we were part of the jersey j meets they were upwards of 50-60 cars. I had fun with the group it added more diversity and brought something to the mix.

So what do you guys think about whoring ourselves at a car show before the cold hits?

 

Sounds good. We kinda did that last month but it was beat because of the crappy weather.

Well, I've never been to a meet, but I'm thinkin of gettin on over to one ( I live in NE PA, and I hear the NJ meet is the best one ) car show would sound cool, and hopefully I'll have my exhaust done when we go so you'll hear me comin!! and besides my B-day is the 15th!!! and it's my 21ST!!!! w00t!!! lol rawk on, I'll keep lookin here for the date.

 

cool...what town are you in? I've spent ALOT of time in the Stroudsburg area and I was thinking about organizing a meet up there for some of the Pocono 'balts some time soon

Ok guys...I really want this meet to be different since it will be one of the last with half way decent weather. I was thinking meeting up at Fudd's around 10:30am - 11:00 am this time. Then we can cruise down to Wall, NJ for the Formula D championship.

I'm sure no one wants to stnad around again and wonder what we are gonna do and end up at a beat classic car show....lol

You can buy tickets online for $20 a person which isn't too bad or if you don't want to make a commitment you can buy them the day of the championship which of course is September 9th (the day of the meet)

I have to be honest with you, I had no interest in going last year but tagged along anyway and had SO much fun. I can't watch this sh*t on TV because it just ends up putting me to sleep but in person, it's a totally different ball game..

So here' the plan:

Meet at Fudd's on September 9th at 10:30....11am the latest since the event starts at 12pm.

Chat and hang out for a little bit and wait for the late comers to arrive and then cruise down to Wall Speedway

 

omg i wanna go so bad but i made my work schedule for that morning...i wanna see drifting...ill see if i can change it but that sounds really cool

 

I think a sick day is in the works lol if you've never been to it before, it's definitely something you HAVE to experience. I love it and I don't even like drifting....lol

ok guys...just make sure if you want to go to the drift event to ORDER THE TICKETS ONLINE. They are ALOT more expensive if you pay for them there. Also, Mapquest the directions, or I believe you can even get the directions right off of the link I gave above....

Also, if anyone wants autographs or anything, bring a sharpie as you can pretty much meet every driver there. Dave has a hard on for Rhys Millen so he'll pretty much be by him the whole day and wind up taking one of his tires home, I don't know how cuz that sh*t isn't going in my car...lol (and yes drivers give away their tires)
