ok so instead of getting outside help to assist in painting my car..and waiting...i think i'm going to go ahead and do it myself. gonna spend another 150$ and get the rest of the tools i need and then paint it myself. gonna start doin some touch up on the body this week. then on a cool weekend i'll prolly go ahead an paint it. ahhhhh! it definitely needs to be done. tired of this f'n primer look.

hmm, like goin on two years i think. time to get it done, originally was supposed to be painted last year but bought the hood and body kit instead. this year i'm up to coilovers and new paint and i'm reallly contemplating hard on how to get those enkei ev5 bronze wheels.

new cars? you never get back what you put in. wouldn't it be smarter jus to save and do something crazy to the balt? an buy a beater for a backup or daily driver

from what i read its because they cant pass any safety emission that the has for all their cars to pass but theres prob more to that but i think thats the base of the prob

yea the engine that the r34 gtr vspec's come with i believe the rb26dett engines are also illegal, offroad use only from what i'm aware. theres a lot of red tap around those cars, plus the chassis have to be reinforced upon importation because they don't meet the safety requirements for collisions and all the glass has to be changed as well. better off buying one thats already been imported and cleared.

Sounds like a bunch of bs. I don't see the big deal about it but hey whatever. There's a 95 supra for sale down the road from me they are asking somewhere in the range of 22k for it. It's nice and all modded up. I don't even remember all the stuff listed. If i wasn't paying for my balt i'd be buying it for sure.
