Toastie the glossifier didn't really come out very glossy, it's definitely glossier than just the plasti dip but it's still not glossy like you'd think it would be. Probably better off painting.

What about just normal clear coat over it?

I guess that would defeat the purpose of being able to peel it off.

I guess I'll try just painting over whats on there now. I'm far too lazy to sand them down fully anytime soon. Maybe when I get back down to school and have nothing to do

Edit: lmao I was hoping you'd say it

I do already miss the shiny lip, it actually adds a lot to the look of my car... but... I think I'm going to paint the center cap white, see how it works out...

Actually, anything I've said in the last two posts don't even matter, sunday is the day Im going to do something with them, you'll all have to see what I do, it's always spur of the moment

That's stupid.. I went on their site just now, they sell pre-dip spray, the dip itself, glossifiers, metalizers, GooGone, some stupid gloves and paint thinner to fix tears in it.

All over priced

spend a good 8 hrs on em an you should be good. even if you just give em a wash they will be better. haven't cleaned those in a while. if you get a white vinyl like the yellow vinyl i put in there you can put a white dot right in the center fairly easily.

just sand em all down the night before you start then the morning of you just go wash em and make sure they are totally completely dry and mask em all off good an hit em with w/e ya want, if your keepin em all black then all you gotta tape off is the tire.

Yeah I washed them actually as soon as I got home a decent amount, sprayed degreaser and wiped them off a bit.

I just dont have another set of wheels to keep the car on so that I can take the time to sand them down and paint them.

So it's really just one at a time, put them back on the car and let the car sit over night. That's why I dont have the patience to do it

Ok so I'm going spending crazy I'm getting CIA IC pipes hot n cold off a member hopefully (as long as he responds sometime soon lol) for 230, a performance autowerks IC off a member for 375 (hopefully I can talk him down to 350 since I'll be picking it up), eibach sportlines 215 from modern performance, a stock clutch at cost, just bought trifecta's tune and the handheld tuner 2 weeks ago, and hopefully trading my hood with one of yours when I get back (free) I wish someone would take the Internet away from me lol

I'm saving up for black friday, going to get a set of coil overs, even if they're just Megan Racing ones
