i believe the boost relay switch went bad. the pump turns on when it is by passed with a toggle switch. i just had him tune me for no meth, so when i get it fixed i'll be going back up. i just dont understand how i only put down 238.....

 

Hey man! When I heard the #'s i was , ehhh ok thats cool. I kinda figured I'd be at that hp B 4 the tune, and after the tune I was like of we'll see what happens.

Then I tried it out on the way home leaving a toll....... WOW! I can kinda use 1st gear NOW! And the car felt much stronger uptop! I was very happy with it! Esp considering i didn't pulley down or anything.

I have a Police prep course this weekend, but the next weekend, I'm putting in that Meth kit and then heading back down! lol


BTW thankx for posting up the vids of the cars! Gave me something to watch last night!

 

let me know when your going back, cuz i plan on coming up on a friday after work, staying the night at a local hotel and then saturday morning getting re-tuned with the meth. so just let me know what weekend your coming down and i'll try to come up that same weekend.

Guys don't be too upset with those numbers... I am telling you it was just a bad day with the weather. I will bet on a less humid day those numbers would all be at least 15% higher... That dyno is a stingy bastard to begin with. Trust the butt dyno.

What you want for perfect numbers is a cool dry day... What we had was a mild humid day @ 74º with 100% humidity... If you noticed the weather correction was actually adding hp.

I would take hot and dry over mild and humid...

On the dyno day we had back on August 11th 2007 I put down 223whp/192wtq with nothing more than an Injen and a factory Stage II that was installed the day before the event, my exhaust was bone stock. It was 80º with 72% humidity.

On February 23rd Matt tuned my car with the mods listed below and I made 262whp/224wtq. It was 32º with about 79% humidity. Weather correction actually deducted hp.

Basically both days I dyno'd my car there was relatively low humidity and the numbers show it...

 

I got most people beat untuned with little mods

probably close to 2 yrs
