im sorry that some of you dont like the name, but that is it.....no changes are being made............a team is more than a name

the use of the word tuners, was agreed to sound to ricey and overused

if you really dont like the name that much, feel free to dismiss yourself, like i said.........it is what it is now,

i didnt say i liked tsp....it had the most votes, i voted for the only one i thought sounded decent...the last choice....w/e it was


and there is no g in the name we chose

and again...a team, is not all about the name

group is no longfer tri-state if we have a memeber from PA

 

i dunno if i'm in or not...yes the original 3 have designation and ruling of said club but it seems like noone had a say in anything that was decided...you can't just get together and make a team over night and say nothing is subject to change...i also don't like the idea of dues and (mandatory) attendance of team designated car shows.....i mean you designed it for the **Tri State** area so how can ppl that arent local to you attend shows that are like 2 hrs from them?...maybe i'm just off the path but o well...mainly i just dun appreciate the fact that your possible "members" got thrown to the wayside on everything you's decided....good luck tho

Well, the Show's aren't Local to the Paul's either... And we'd have ppl from South Jerz, all the way up to CT, and out to PA... so theres a huge radius or ppl... some 1's not gunna be close lol

im still in but i may have a problem with the club meets depending on when they are i work sunday to thursday and i work from 2-10. so it depends on when these meets are. 2 meets and 1 show is not alot but i would want to be there for most of these if yo know what im saying. do we have a set day of the week for these meets?

 

I think they'll let us know in advance, but I don't think they had any in mind last night. That will prob be put together a lil further down the line after they get everything else set up..

 

The only meet that was discussed was a meet and greet, it would be toward the end of July and would be planned out and you all will know when it is going to be.

 

the whole point and purpose of this team being formed is to get people off the websites and actively involved IN PERSON...everyone always bitches how we put a lot of time and energy into planning meets and getting **** all set up only to have 10 people show up when it was supposed to be 50 originally...if people have more of a financial investment then they're more likely to show up and i think that this is a way to basically weed out the people who arent serious about doing stuff together off the interwebz

 

lol...had that experience..tho we had about 20 out of like 40 that said they wanted to come but there was other reasons then that they just didnt wanna come...drag race rain date an other stuff etc. on same date....yall are outta my area anyhow...i have about 5 others in pa here that wanna start a group so i'll jus form a local group....if yall need any help with anything let me kno...as i said..good luck tho

i think bear mountain or harriman state park (seven lakes drive area) would be ideal for a first meet...its pretty much central to everyone in the tri-state

i would have no problem with that, but it would all depend on what day of the week we have this first meet. Like i said i work nights and only have off on friday and saturday. And i have car shows every weekend from the july 13th to aug 3

 

thats my biggest problem working late but i think i'll try to make the staten island one ...

 

well yeah its close to me but i just happen to be central to the tri-states lol...and ive never had a prob travelling to meets b4 ive gone down to new brunswick twice and all the way up to poughkeepsie once

meh the SI one is the same day as orchard beach....IMO id rather go to that than SI...plus its cheaper...$20 for OB vs. $55 (or $45) for SI

 

Will see what happens when details come out for SI and then decide. Cause i would have to take a vac day.
