if someone can hook up 60lb injectors into my car or send me a how to in a PM then i will come and prob. get dyno dyno tuned if it's only $300 and nothing more. someone PM me and let me know if they can put 60lb injectors in fast or what

I still have 22s sitting around from the old SS

 

yea the injectors are easily, just taking them out you must be slow so no dirt or grim drops ontop of the cyl. head. like when i removed my stockers. i actually got a q-tip and some cleaning stuff and cleaned each injector port where they sit, than i washed the rubber boots or w.e. that goes around the injector and soaked them. than idk if you guys did this but i removed the coolant line that ran above the fuel rail. so if i were you bring like 10 q-tips and i guess some alchohol not the kind you drink lol like the kind in nail polish remover. so to make it fast when those injectors come out, hop right on cleaning the ports and maaaaake sure nothing falls down in there. god that would suck

 

uhhh. rally what size are those stockers? i run a 2.2 would they fit? and show any gain?

 

the SS/SC stockers are 32lb injectors, i'm sure they'll fit, just not sure if you'll need a new harness. just dropping them in... you might see a slight gain but you'll benefit much more with a tune. hit up Vince at Trifecta and see what he says.

ok i just did a quick search about these, my stock injectors will work with your stock harness, you just need a tune. i'm sure you can get a Trifecta tune for it.

 

SS/SC injectors are gonna give any gains to a 2.2....or even a 2.4.....unless its boosted or something. This subject has been beaten to death. I remember back in the day when all the 2.4 guys (including myself) all wanted stock SS/SC injectors b/c we thought for some divine reason they would actually help. My 2.4SS has full bolt ons........CA v1 header, XTC 2.5" de-cat downpipe, AEM CAI, ARK N2 cat-back.........and its HP Tuners tuned.......and by no means did I need bigger injectors. Joe (BennyHHR) had no problems keeping my IDC rates normal while still extracting extra power out of my motor. Like I said, unless you plan on boosting it, your not gonna need bigger injectors. A competent tuner should be able to keep everything golden on your stock injectors.

i cant wait guys. i wonder what kinda power i'll make with 3.0 and not can tuned from zzp... did anyone ever have a reflash and go get dyno'd and see a noticible difference? i have alot of excitment sorry.

i have a zzp pcm, 42 injectors, and 3.0 pulley before i get on the dyno. think i'll see a difference in powah? lol

yea i'll DEF be there i'd like to roll there together with a couple balts but i seem to be the only one going there from my area. i will be taking my camera man with me so i wont be alone for the drive lol
