Ok so we WERE going to have a cannonball from the park and ride on 70 out to the Fredrick meet but the sudden intrest started me thinking twice about it. Then today I recieved a phone call form someone claiming to be a member here. He asked when and where the cannonball was to start and approx how many others would be racing and would all the cars be Cobalts. I asked a few questions of my own like who is this? They said a new member that I wouldn't know yet. I asked where they gt my cell # and they said from a member here. I asked who? They said the guy with the red Cobalt in is sig but that they didn't remember the name.

Now I may not be a rocket scientist but I'm no moron either! I tried to call the # back on my caller ID and the recording said my call could not be completed as dialed, so I tried the 410, 301, 443 prefixes and all hit dead ends. I sat back and did a little thinking and this sounds more and more like a police sting in the works for us.

So guys I'm sorry to say that as far as I am concerned the cannonball is officialy canceled due to too much sudden intrest and the possiblity of police issues. I would at this time also recomend that ALL illegal stuff out of our cars before we meet up at the park and ride, you know like NOS! The park and ride is public property so we can't get run out IF we behaive! Also I would recomend that no matter how boring it may be that we stick to the speed limit the whole way out. IF the cops are watching us don't forget they have helicopters and can watch us from where we can't see them till its too late.

So to the snitch I'd like to give a great big flaming **** YOU *******! Thanks for killing our fun and possibly landing some of us in jail and our cars impounded. Don't let me find out who you are cause I'll post your name in ever gay chat room I can find as "cute white boy looking for the biggest black stud out there" I'll drop such an E-bomb on your ass you'll never know WTF hit you.

Maybe it was just a really weird cobalt owner on the phone with you? Heck, if i'm about to do a long illegal race across several cities, then i'm gonna be asking alot of questions too!!

Next time maybe ask any questionable callers a few test questions such as "So a quick question, what is the name of the engine in the SS/SC?" or something like that.

If he doesn't know the answer or takes a long time to figure it out then he's a piggy!! Then you can bail.
